Despite noting an early arrival, was told no room was available unless I wanted another room for an additional fee. Felt like extortion and after saying no, had to wait until 3pm to check in. Bar area understaffed. One person waiting on a full bar was ridiculous. Felt sorry for the bartender. Also front desk doing triple duty as concierge and bell captain. Hire additional help.

We did receive your early check‑in preference, but unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed, especially during high season and full occupancy. Any available rooms are offered as an optional choice, and we regret that this left a negative impression. For guests traveling long distances or dealing with time differences, a consideration is to book the night before, which ensures the room is ready upon arrival at any time. We also apologize for the short‑staffing you experienced at the bar and front desk. Your comments are important to us, and we’re working to improve these areas.
