Whenever I travel to Melbourne for work, I always choose The Sebel Apartments for my stay. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and Belinda, the manager, consistently makes me feel at home. The rooms are conveniently situated within walking distance of a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. The rooms are WIFI enabled and with smart TV's in the lounge and bedrooms it is a comfortable stay!

My room and other rooms within our group of 6 all claimed to find a faint yellow liquid in the toilet bowl, defiantly looked like urine so not a good look when you enter the room if its actually toilet cleaner. Cant believe you wouldn't sense check using a yellow liquid!! All rooms facing the street opposite Coles are very noisy due to traffic and drunk people late at night. Car parking underground is too expensive should be $50 for one to 3 nights stay. $80 for 4 to 7 nights stay.

The yellow that you mentioned is the disinfectant that is used to clean the bathrooms. If yourself and/or your fellow Garmin colleagues had made the team aware of your concerns, the team would have been more then happy to assist. We have passed this feedback onto the House Keeping team for their follow up and do apologize for any upset that was caused. Our car parking is charged per night as we have limited on site car parking. There are alternates options that are within walking distance of the hotel including an open air car park that is free. Never stay here! Stifling hot rooms with no temperature controls. Aircon not working. Noisy. Parking was a nightmare and expensive. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. No room service. Was charged $200 for smoking on balcony despite no knowledge that this was not allowed- for extra cleaning. More like as retribution. Very poor form. There was no trace of ash left.

Your attempt to discredit the team and the hotel due to yourself and your partner smoking in the room and being disgruntled at being charged an additional cleaning fee and to set up a TripAdvisor account specifically to write this review is a reflection of yourself To assist our guests with preparation for their stay. a pre-arrival email is sent to our guests with information in regards to our operations including details about smoking. This is also listed on the reg-card and in the hotel information located in the rooms. All our rooms have individual air-con units that have their own remote controls with fully adjustable temperature control. Our car park can be challenging, which is why we provide all our guests with a map and the team fully explains to our guests where our car spaces are located. I had a wonderful experience on my recent stay at the Sebel Moonee Ponds. Staff were professional and accommodating and even allowed me a 9 am check in due to a red eye flight in from Darwin. Room was really clean and bed extremely comfortable. Looking for to staying again in the near future ( already have a booking). Thanks Sebel for making my stay wonderful and a home away from home.

Location is great in the middle of shops and food places. Although no breakfast is served you do seem to get used to your morning wander to get some food and coffee. Staff is so accommodating and Belinda is truly a superstar. Yes the street can get a bit noisy at times especially during the weekend but small price to pay compared to what you get in return. Great in house and room facilities would definitely come back again. Thanks Team !
