I made multiple reservations, one for my business stay, one for a college, and one for my wife an I for extra days. The front desk personnel were extremely friendly and patient in dealing with these reservations and getting us checked into rooms.

Good hotel but wrong room allocated

It's my second stay at this hotel, but I was disappointed to have booked the superior room on the top floor (view over the roofs of Paris with a balcony) and was allocated a room on the 3rd floor without a balcony. Although comfortable, it lacked charm and the view.

This hotel was below the standards we have experienced at other hotels with lots of small problems throughout the stay: Dangerous broken mirror. Broken shower. Not enough towels on several occasions. Breakfast room cramped. Breakfast average. One waiter smelt so bad it really put you off breakfast. Not able to watch TV as remote was missing and never replaced. Tried to overcharge me on departure.

Good experience other than the mistake re our dates that required us to come back to hotel to sort it out. Adminsitrative error however th front desk were apologetic and soretd this issue for us. Despite busy breakfast times the hotel looked after us really well.
