Check-in and check-out staff were great, as were the catering staff (thank you for the Yorkshire Tea bags). However the staff member working on Friday night 10th October told us the bar was closed. We questioned this with one of his colleagues on Saturday morning who said the bar is meant to be open 24/7. Asked several times for an extra pillow (we only had on each), but these never materialised. Also, the breakfast is expensive for what you get. There is a Wetherspoons 5 minutes walk away that serves a much cheaper breakfast, has a greater variety of choice and do breakfasts until 12 noon.

All ok but the hotel ran out of door cards so the member of staff at the desk had to come and let us into our room. Room seemed to be clean but a strand of hair found in the bathroom suggests cleaning could have been better.
