We have stayed here many times. Disappointed to learn there would be construction and that the breakfast buffet would be moved and the hours shortened; a little advanced warning would have been nice. Also, I almost lost my reservation because I was not told that a credit card would be necessary to hold the room. In fact, all I was told was that I would need to confirm the reservation 24 hours in advance via email. No one in their right mind would send credit card information through email. Luckily, the gentlemen at the desk honored the rate I was promised and he made sure we got a room, but it was very disturbing to arrive in Medellin from the US to find the reservation had been canceled due to a serious lack of communication.
