The room was cold and no temperature monitor to change it, only an ac and remote. the shower was not female friendly, when I arrived my sink was dirty, the light beside my bed flickered and made electrical sounds. The only good thing was the bed was comfortable.

Alarma de emergencia se alarmo en la madrugada.

Estimado huésped, Lamentamos sinceramente la molestia ocasionada por la activación de la alarma de emergencia durante la madrugada. Entendemos el impacto que esto pudo tener en su descanso y queremos ofrecerle nuestras disculpas por la interrupción. La alarma se activó debido a [causa breve y verificada, ejemplo: un sensor sensible, una falla técnica, humo detectado en cocina, etc.], y nuestro equipo actuó de inmediato para verificar la situación y garantizar la seguridad de todos los huéspedes. Afortunadamente, no hubo ningún riesgo real y el sistema fue restablecido rápidamente. Agradecemos su comprensión y queremos asegurarle que estamos tomando medidas para evitar que un inconveniente como este vuelva a ocurrir. I was not allowed to stay in this hotel where I was booked because of a flooded floor.My driver took me to another hotel where I was booked and left me there. The receptionist didn’t speak English so we communicated via google translator. After a very long wait she took me to a room which was occupied! We went back to reception and after another very long wait, the same thing happened - the room was occupied! Third time lucky. I got to my room after midnight! Breakfast was at the original hotel, the Ibis Medellin. Fortunately I was driven there and able to stay at the Ibis for the remaining nights. It was OK but nothing special although the young man who checked me in (Azurro I think his name was) was good
