Very pleasant. Location wise the hotel is perfect. All the staff were nice. The hotel room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed.

Returning to this hotel for the fourth time means that we have had good experiences here in the past. This time, however, was a disappointment. Two separate issues led to this disappointment. Firstly, upon our arrival, I asked for robes and was told that the sauna was broken, so there was no need for a robe. This led me to believe that the complete spa area was closed as we were told that we did not need a robe. After several days, I found out that the IR chairs were actually available, but I missed out on them because I was led to believe the whole area was closed when I was told that there was no need for a robe. So eventually, I got to start using the IR chairs, but the sauna continued to be broken for our complete stay of 13 nights. An amenity at the hotel being unavailable for a couple of days is understandable because things break. Being unavailable for over two weeks is a different story. That was quite disappointing as this is one of the reasons why I stay at this location. Multiple actions could’ve been taken to ease the pain such as a rebate on the price of the stay, extra award points, or maybe a voucher too go to the local RupertusTherme. Any attempt would’ve been better than we do not know when it will be repaired. Secondly, we had a negative experience with housekeeping. While, we appreciate and are very thankful for the go green project that allows you to put a door hanger out that refuses cleaning for that day in return of bonus points, it’s a problem when the program doesn’t work correctly. During our 13 night day, we had one day that we were desirous of the room being cleaned. We knew we would be out of the room all day on that day. We removed the go green door hanger the night before leaving only the red please come back later sign on the door. At 9 o’clock when we headed to the train station, we removed the red please come back later sign from the door. We expected that nine in the morning was early enough, and that they would come back later. That night when the room still had not been cleaned, I went to the desk to get clean towels. I inquired as to why the room was not cleaned. I was told that it was because there was a red sign on the door. So it turns out when they walk through at 6 AM if there’s a red sign saying, please come back later for example while you’re eating breakfast and plan to return back to the room briefly, they do not come back later and the room does not get cleaned. On average I spend approximately 250 nights a year in hotels. Generally, as long as a please come back later sign is taken off by midday the room will still be cleaned. Seemingly at this location, a red sign on the door at 6 AM means please do not clean my room today. Initially, I was disappointed that I lost my bonus points for that day, even though my room wasn’t cleaned. Now, however, as I’m looking at my account and see my points plus my bonus points as a member, I am not seeing bonus points for the go green program. Maybe it will be added in a few more days, but if not, I will be further disappointed if I have to spend time trying to get those points added. We plan to stay in Bad Reichenhall three times a year for two weeks each stay. Currently trying to decide if I give this Location another chance or if I need to find a different hotel to stay in for my return trips. I would be remiss if I did not say that the breakfast, as always, is amazing. When working, the spa area is great. The exercise area is definitely sufficient. The hotel staff is above average. The room, bedding, and cleanness is all sufficient.

The location of the hotel is really good. Between the hills, rivers and lakes the hotel offers you also a really good food in their own restaurant. The stuff is friendly, the rooms are clean.

Good service, breakfast spread was good but could be better for the price (for example, no toaster to heat bread). I asked for the invoice to be sent to me after my stay but until now I did not receive it.
