Good hotel, well located to both Salzburg HBF and altstadt. A bit hard to find as some streets on the way had no street signs. Easiest way from HBF is to take the exit at the far end of platforms 8 and 9 (D/E end); only issue is that there is no escalator/elevator if you have luggage. Rooms have all of the usual amenities (safe, mini-fridge, kettle with coffee/tea) and beds are really comfortable. Only issue is the pillows which were not that comfortable (personal preference for feather pillows). Food in restaurant is good, although a bit pricy. Service was ok, but waitstaff I had did not speak english very well. Front desk staff were professional and willing to assist with travel directions, restaurant recommendations, etc.

I like this hotel. Gave us a sweet treat upon check in as they knew it was our wedding anniversary. Walking distance to train station so we just walked to it upon arrival. There are also nice restaurants about 500 meters away like Die Weiss. Toth at the reception was very warm when we checked in. This was the most expensive hotel of our recent 5 city Europe trip, but a nice buffet breakfast was included so still ok. A bit of distance from the Salzburg city center though, but I would gladly stay again if I’m in the area.

The hotel is located in a very quiet location. The rooms are comfortable with a friendly staff taking care of the guest. The front desk team guided us and gave the map for walking to the destination. At dinner time, the restaurant staff helpfully guided us to the food we are looking for and same thing at the time of breakfast, which is a good spread. Overall good experience

Service was definitely nowhere near the level of a 4-star hotel. On the first day, housekeeping did not fill up the bottle of shower gel that was near empty. Next morning, I specifically called the reception to ask them to get housekeeping to refill the shower gel, and when we got back that night it was still empty. When I called reception again, the manager on duty (guy wearing a suit jacket) told me I had to go down to the front desk to pick the shower gel up. What??? This is the first hotel I’ve stayed in where you’re asked to pick essentials up from the front desk instead of having them brought to the room. When I went down, the same manager was on his mobile phone. Honestly shocking attitude. To be clear, this low rating does not apply to the general front desk staff who were all perfectly pleasant and helpful.

Ich danke Ihnen ebenfalls für Ihr Feedback und möchte mich hier einmal für die von Ihnen beschriebenen Mängel in aller Form entschuldigen. Der Defekt in der Umluftanlage, den wir während Ihres Aufenthaltes hatten ist mitlerweile behoben und entschuldigen Sie bitte, dass dies etwas Zeit gekostet hatte um den Defekt zu beheben. Allgemein darf ich Ihnen versichern, dass das Wohlbefinden unserer Gäste IMMER an erster Stelle steht und wir hier Tag für Tag bemüht sind uns auch immer weiter zu entwickeln und zu verbessern.
