The location is fantastic. The cleaning staff on the 8th floor were amazing. We ate in the lobby and on the roof top restaurant. Both good and great service the only area which was disappointing was the breakfast. Staff was not attentive. ( except for Maria- nectaria ). The food had no taste They could do so much better. In Greece we have such great baked goods. No excuse. Service was not smooth. But I would stay there again but without the breakfast.

4.5 Star--The hotel location is at the Syntagma Square, which is the "best value" if one were willing to pay a slight premium for the location. Across the street is the entrance to the Athens Metro subway system hub. There was a Taxi strike on our date of departure for a 08:30H flight. The first Metro train was 05:53H to the airport. The saver was the location was a 5 minute walk to the "X95 Express Bus" to the airport which had buses run every 15 to 20 minutes, which is catered to locals working near the airport. We were able to catch the 04:40H "X95" bus and arrived at the airport promptly to catch our flight. Location is the key for staying at the Athens Capital Hotel--MGallery; especially for the first time visitors to Athens. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Had "no complaint."

The location is "great," especially for first time tourist to Athens. The Metro (subway) is across the street as hub station to the different subway lines. We enjoyed the 5 nights at a modern room with "tech," such as a motion sensor to automatically turning on the "small lights" to guide one to the washroom during the night. The staff were all friendly.
