We were welcomed by the bell services rushing out in the drizzle to help my wife with her bags. We were recognized as “guests of the day” which included a bed size upgrade, free welcome drinks, a couple of taste of Greece jellys plus a large bottle of water, and free breakfast. The breakfast is the only thing I would downgrade the otherwise great service. We didn’t find the food selection great, except for the breads. And early in the morning (around 6 am), only one server was available and she was very busy.

It would have been a perfect (albeit expensive) stay if I had been able to find at least ONE French-speaking member of staff. I don't find it acceptable that, what is I believe the largest French-own chain of hotels is unable/unwilling to make the effort to address the needs of its French clients. I fail to see how that would affect your bottom line. It certainly does not help all the schools that offer French language courses and the local population that makes the effort to learn our language. I know, you are going to say that promoting the French language is not part of your mandate but maybe it is the ethical thing to do when you base a large part of your publicity on your "French touch" and a supposedly 'French connection'.

I booked a junior suite (only room available) as a walk-in due to a family emergency. The hot water failed and I had cold showers, which didn't improve my mood dealing with the death of my father. They did not apologize when I checked out and made excuses instead.

Having stayed at many "airport" hotels over the years I can confidently say this is the best one by miles! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by a friendly staff, the room was clean and well appointed and the restaurant served some of the best food we experienced over nearly a month in Greece. Lovely staff, great restaurant experience, bed so comfy and room nice and quiet. A few things which we would expect not to find especially given the price which is not cheap - the minibar cupboard door was off one hinge / partially open askew, there was a gap in the laminate flooring right outside the bathroom which if you weren't careful could cause scratched feet! and a bit of missed rubbish behind the door when we came into the room. Room 228 23/9.

Convenience was key. Two negative issues: the bathroom mirror was dusty and the go box for breakfast should not contain a juice drink. I went through security at 4:45AM, I was stopped.
