I would prefer that you had the moquette removed from the floor. Its hygiene depends heavily on rigorous cleaning like frequent vacuuming (HEPA-filtered), timely spot cleaning, periodic deep extraction (every 6-12 months) and antimicrobial treatments to manage odors and bacteria. The best would be a wooden floor with small rugs next to the bed that would be given for cleansing together with the sheets and towels after each client leaves the room.

Even if the area is a little bit dirty, the hotel is great even if he is old. The team is helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffet is excellent for a Novotel and the room was very confortable. Just need to have a cast on the tv to be at the maximum.

I had an excellent experience at the Novotel Athens. I really liked the hotel, especially its central location. During my entire stay, I didn’t need to use any public transportation, as I was able to walk everywhere, which was wonderful and very convenient. I would especially like to thank Vicky from the reception team, who at the last minute helped me arrange a taxi from the airport to the hotel, as taxis were on strike on the Thursday when I arrived in Athens. Her help was truly essential and greatly appreciated. I would definitely stay here again.

Very helpful that the room was ready when I arrived early, staff very pleasant. Less helpful that I’m not sure my early morning cab would have turned up without me pressing the night manager as to where it was.
