The extraction in the bathroom is atrocious and therefore the bathroom mirrors are useless. The shower varied in temperature wildly. The breakfast on the Saturday morning(we were first in to the dining room) at 0730 was barely hot. The Sunday morning breakfast was of a similar quality ie not hot. This bear in mind is £22!!!! Apparently you can get Vegan however only if you give them 24 hrs notice which we were not made aware of. Conversely the room was very comfortable and quiet.

Firstly we visited for the horse racing at Newbury so arrived early Saturday morning. We weee allowed to register our car for the free parking. When we arrived back to the hotel we were given our room key room 117. We were told that it was party night and we’d experience some noise. Party noise wasn’t to bad to be fair by the time we’d watched a bit of tv and nodded off the party had finished. Then the next room think 118 decided to have their own party with all their banging and shouting, slamming doors and then knocking in them again shouting Jill. Wouldn’t be so bad but this went on til 4.30am. So sadly we won’t be visiting again because when we book a hotel room we actually like to sleep. Breakfast was food and a lot of nice options especially the cooked breakfast.
