Slightly annoying having our balcony partially closed off so workers could abseil down and use as a landing point. Unit fixtures and fitting becoming "tired" ( glassware, plates utensils etc)

Room main door was broken and jamming - my colleague and I had to squeeze through and barely fit to enter and exit. A total fire and safety hazard. There was a welcome message for someone else on the table. The room was aging and not very clean, and numerous items/fixtures were non-functioning. There were workman hanging on our balcony the entire time, which meant limited privacy. The pool looked filthy. Given the extremely high price this was a very poor impression.

Our 2 bedroom executive apartment was tastefully decorated, very clean, spacious and comfortable. The unit had everything you would need for self catering. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. I look forward to our next stay at Mantra Sirocco Resort.

We stayed for 9 nights and we like to eat in, use the facilities and enjoy the beach. We had requested a room with a larger tv and was disappointed that the room had such a small one - 40 inch. The manager was fabulous and organised a bigger tv for us - a 50 inch. This made such a difference. The manager was very lovely and helpful and kind. The room... Beds for 5, table for 6, out door table for 6 and large dinner plates 4! No entree size plates either. The oven had no oven tray pans except for a deep dish one and the frypans left a lot to be desired. The couch has also seen better days. The bathroom mirror cabinets in the main bathroom could not be opened as the ceiling has sagged. Toiletries had to remain in our toiletry bag for 9 days. The second bathroom had the same issue but not quite as bad. The bed was fabulous. A light wasn't working in the bathroom and we had to get it replaced as it was quite dark without it. The pool was wonderful and slightly heated that made it really pleasant. The complex was well kept and maintained. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back.
