as advertised! The rooms are small (don't bring your cat swinging aspirations) but designed to fit luggabe under the bed with thoughtful rails and spaces to 'put things' - I was comfortable working in the room and in the common areas, and the rooms had blackout blinds and a delightful lack of LED lights so you can sleep 'in the dark' thank all that's holy. ... oh and sleep - the bed was super super comfy. I slept hard, even on Sydney time. Staff were helpful and friendly, food and cocktails were great... it really doesn't have parking (7 spots doesn't count unless you're lucky enough to get one of the 7 spots) and the street parking is paid and monitored - but also the app for street parking is easy to use and appart from having to move my car every 3 hours on the weekdays - it was very successfull. The location is great and the place has a great vibe. All around great hotel.

Even better to hear you slept well despite being on Sydney time, and that you enjoyed the food and cocktails. I also appreciate your balanced feedback on parking. You’re absolutely right — with only seven onsite bays it can come down to luck, and we’re mindful of how inconvenient timed street parking can be during the week, even if the app is straightforward. Thank you as well for the note about towel replacement. You’re spot on — if towels are hung, the usual expectation is they’re reused. I’ve shared this with our housekeeping team as a reminder so we’re aligned with guest preferences and our sustainability intent. The hotel felt safe, was very clean and the staff helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, I thought the restaurant food was of poor quality and was served a risotto that was obviously made the day before and heated up. While the room was small, clean and comfortable, the room toilet door hinge was so over sprung, I now have bruising on my arm as it snapped shut so fiercely. The toilet door was very difficult to open.

I’m genuinely sorry to read about your experience in the restaurant and, more importantly, the toilet door hinge in your room. Your comments regarding the risotto are disappointing and not the standard we expect to deliver — I will be following this up with our kitchen team immediately. I’m also concerned to hear you sustained bruising due to the toilet door snapping shut and being difficult to open. This is a safety issue and I appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Waited a day to get the safe fixed , other guests banging on our door at 1 in the morning , took a while to served at the food area .
