Prime Prahran location, steps from Chapel Street’s buzz. Clean, nice rooms with an artistic edge. Bathroom a little pokey Bedside charging only works with lights on, and a lamp needs a new globe. Overall, a value for money stay.

Overall the experience was good. Location is good. Room size was good and it was clean. Staff were very good - courteous, prompt in responding and professional. Parking is a great bonus. My quibbles relate to the place starting to feel tired (I’ve stayed three times now and it increasingly feels like it was cheaply finished and now the property manages are just letting it go. As stand alone issues lights not working or wall sockets not being properly fixed and therefore a liability are small, but when you add them to the persistently vacant commercial spaces at street level it all starts to feel rundown and as if Accor have no care or pride in the venue. It’s a poor reflection on Accor.

Upon entry late at night, there receptionist was not very pleasant or helpful. I was told I needed a physical bank card to pay. I don’t normally travel with a physical bank card and nearly wasn’t able to pay- I feel like in 2025 there should be an option to tap to pay- the receptionist wasn’t very helpful or inviting. I also asked about room service (as it was nighttime and I was hungry after my flight) and was told shortly ‘there is no room service here’ - to have paid nearly $200 for a room and to have no room service? I also asked about breakfast the next morning- ‘No Breakfast either’ ….okay lady what DO you offer?

The room was a good size, the view great, well priced mini bar but the bed was terrible its flimsy frame meant it was really wobbly and squeaky and soft.
