Assume twin towns was one ( accomodation and club) Second time in two stays been disappointed. Previous visit security over the top - when signing in Last visit denied entry because I am from Coffs Harbour, when question no real answer as to why? Booked meeting rooms, third visit in last few months but will not see me again , poor service, zero respect from your security, understand need for safety but surely can be done while been polite. Noting on both occasions none in our group had been drinking at that point

The Mantra is well located to all activities, shopping etc and in my case will be an extremely great place to stay once the border between NSW and QLD opens.

Just came for a night to check out staying in caravan in Ballina loved Tweed no complaints to hotel for a night or two ..... but my husband has a cig like some have a glass wine and not able to sit on valcony and enjoy but thats not a complaint to staff that day/shift overall was good

Stayed Friday to Monday, the room was nice with good toiletries. Bathroom was very dated and a little worn. Breakfast was great (especially in Covid time) staff on the weekend where attentive and friendly nothing was too much, they did a great job. Monday however had different staff who's priority was chatting rather than taking an order or removing plates from tables. It got to the point where I had to walk over and ask (which in Covid time I thought hotel restaurants didn't want patrons walking around), for a coffee in a mug and when it came it was in a small cup, I asked about the mug and was told that there is only one size ( although on the weekend it came in a mug). These are only small things (other than not getting served while staff chat away) but multiple things that if it wasn't for the weekend staff I would have given a 4/10 rating .

After being disappointed with the first 2 offers of penthouses which were not of expected standard ,we were very happy with the room for the last 2 nights. The staff were helpfull and understanding of our concern with the standard of penthouses first offered.

Room facilities were underwhelming - didn’t even provide a doona?!, breakfast was very underwhelming and the hotel staff were worse.

I stayed for a weekend in a twin suite. Was very clean, spacious, and had a great view of Jack Evans Boat Harbour. The bed was comfy, and I had everything that I needed for a short stay. Only gripe was that I couldn't work out how to get the cable channels. Maybe a little note on the introductory sheet would help. The breakfast, although not buffet anymore, was more than satisfactory. Plenty of choices and great coffee. The staff there were second to none. It was close to shopping centre, club, and walking tracks, and had a good variety of eaterys. Loved my stay so much, am booking another long weekend away there, next month.

We usually visit to celebrate our birthdays in August & off the cuff we decided to see what was available. We drove up the weekend before & had lunch at the club, so we then decided on the Thursday to have an overnight away, we enjoyed the break so much we stayed another night.

This was a quick night away from home with my partner. The stat itself was fine, just nothing too special to call out. The reception staff were polite but didn’t seem to be very interested in their job. The restaurant staff at breakfast were lovely, very attentive and quite present. My room was nice, very spacious.

Major disconnect between hotel and restaurant

No major complaints about the hotel, except for the lack of long-time Accor member pricing options that was available on the web, but refused at the time of check-in. That aside, my wife and I were really put off by the arrogance and incompetence of some of the staff in the ground floor restaurant. For this reason, we will not be recommending this hotel to any friends or family, even when the current pandemic is behind us.
