After waiting for 2 hours to be checked in, we were given a room with the incorrect bedding and an extremely, unbearable and pungent smell. After we requested to change rooms, we had to wait a following hour before being given a new room. The bedding configuration was still incorrect and the bathroom had not been cleaned. There was urine all over the toilet which was left for me to clean. Extremely dissatisfied for the amount of money spent.

Stayed in room 517 beautifully renovated with a stunning view of the surf breaking!! Enjoyed the buffet breakfast was of a very high standard with everything cooked deliciously. Complemented one of the chefs on the superb pancakes!!!Yummy!!!

The room had no view, noisy every morning due to garbage removal and was not the same as our previous stay. Cleaning was missed mid stay until I asked for some towels - I know covid is impacting but communication is key to everything

Expensive overrated no house keeping, never again

Wait time for checkin for customer service (approximately 10mins when in the Accor line) , we were told that the room would be 20 minutes but waited 1.45 for phone call, low level room even though we paid $650 per night, no housekeeping or fresh towels, no access for breakfast vouchers or welcome stay, unable to use Accor card in restaurant, changed room 3 times in 5 days and had to cart all out luggage to reception each trip, dirty mirrors and cleaning cloths left in sink Swipe access card into the pool or out of the pool area inconvenient when we are already in the compound Some customer service nice some just ignore people

Was a great stay, felt welcomed. Accommodated staying an extra 2 nights. The only downfall was that our room was missed being cleaned twice and on numerous days they didn’t come until really late ie 4-5pm on one particular my partner was having a shower to go out for dinner which was quite late and they knocked on the door they handed some towels through and left. That was a little disappointing..

A bad experience, we have stayed at this hotel before and would have to say the last visit was by far the worst. We booked our room six months in advance, but on arrival where put in a disability room w3ith a faulty air conditioner, the first staff member called to have a look at the problem was very rued. Overall this was a blight on our stay, plus the gardens and overall upkeep of the facility was quite poor. If this was our first stay I doubt we would return.

The Mantra Tweed Heads is situated in a fantastic location, close to fabulous patrolled beaches and surf clubs and has some fantastic amenities for families. The kids took advantage of the mini golf, the two pools and the games room. The hotel is close to Timezone and that was also a bonus for the kids to come and go. The staff were lovely and whilst communication was slow (we are in a pandemic so that's perfectly acceptable), they were great. Unfortunately what has let this hotel down is our apartment itself. Whilst great views - that is all that this apartment had going for it. If this room is privately owned then you should not be renting this out in this state to customers at that price. I paid 5 star rates for a 2 star room. Fridge was missing a leg was the first thing I noticed as I put my shopping in. Outdoor table wobbly and chairs dirty. Laundry door falling off. Couch noticeably ripped and cushions tattered - maybe I wouldn't have noticed this, but very hard not too as I had to make up the sofa bed each day. Throw pillows in lounge and bedroom old and tattered and have seen better days. Television is old with blue ray player? The lounge room is full of mismatched furniture that doesn't need to be there. Stereo with cassette deck in lounge - why????? My advice would be to throw it all out and start again. Would I stay at Mantra Tweed again? Possibly in another room - the 2 bedrooms were brighter and I would request a recently renovated/updated room (if they have them)? So for the price each night currently steer clear of room 545 is my advice.

Staff shortages due to Covid-19 impacted the stay this year. Staff were busy with having the extra tasks of handing out towels, toiletries etc due to rooms not being serviced, which was part of the room cost.

We had a great stay at Mantra. Well located and clean facilities. We stayed 7 nights and it wasn't serviced which was disappointing for the price. If they aren't going to service they should provide the right tools in the apartment, a portable vacuum is almost essential with a young family.

The motel is well located on the border of NSW and Queensland at Tweed Heads and Coolongatta. It also has direct access to Twin Towns Services Club. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with excellent ocean and beach view over Coolongatta.. This spacious unit with modern facilities and balcony was great.

No Reward For Accor Loyalty

We checked in under multiple bookkings, starting 19-10-21. We were goinf week to week until we were advised we would not be getting a border crossing exemption into QLD. We therefore booked up until 17-12-21. The accommodation itself (2 bedroom apartment) is nice enough and serves our needs whilst we are here. With the exception of the dishwasher does not work properly. We mentioned this to front desk, maintenance came and checked it & said it will likely need replacing. That was the last of it. My biggest disappointment is in honouring Accor member benefits. As a Platinum member, one is afforded certain benefits. Complimentary drinks upon check in. Not received and told it was due to Covid. Automatic upgrade to next room type. Told this was not available. (Although our room is sufficient). Complimentary breakfast each day. Told this was not available, as I was in the wrong tower and floor level to receive this, as certain floors etc were owned by the club across the road. This has me baffled. If this hotel is part of the Accor brand, how can members only receive membership benefits if you stay in certain rooms of the hotel only? The rooms themselves are good. But do not expect to be rewarded for your loyalty to Accor here.

We had a twin deluxe room,it was lovely and fresh,and modern, close to the beach and public transport...staff were lovely, breakfast really nice......we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Great location central to shops & beach. Great view of ocean from the new refurbished rooms. Staff were proactive even before checking in & the entire checking in & out process was flawless. Ensure to book ocean view rooms to enjoy & evening wine on the balcony looking out to sea.
