Bad experience ever

We booked in June so months in advance of a new years break 29/12 to 3/1 It was a luxury escape deal with an apartment for 5 nights for just under $2400 All previous luxury escapes deals we have had (8 in total) have been premium with no complaints but this was disappointing The apartment was in reasonable condition but is not serviced at all during the stay I anticipated that we would have some views of the water either Tweed estuary or the ocean but sadly for $480 a night we could only see a laneway and two other apartment blocks We were on the 6 th floor above the laneway where both the recycling and rubbish bins were emptied at 5-00 am 🙄 The complex is large two huge towers but only one outdoor pool which is very under sized for the number of people with very limited shade A small indoor pool and spa is also available again each time we tried for a dip it was overwhelming with people ☹️ Depending on what you are looking for do your homework and check out what views are available

Views do vary depending on apartment allocation, and while this is outlined at the time of booking, we understand how important this can be to the overall experience—particularly for a special New Year stay. We also apologise for the early morning noise you experienced and for the congestion in the pool and spa areas during peak holiday periods. The New Year season is one of our busiest times, and while facilities are available to all guests, we recognise that crowding and limited shade can impact enjoyment.
