I replied to Jazmyn’s email before our arrival explaining the reason of our stay - never got any answer and nothing was done about it until after we arrived and I went down to reception to get it sorted. After dinner, we went back up to the room to go to sleep and discovered a blood stain in bed. Finding blood on the bed linen in a 5-star hotel is utterly disgusting. It is a basic failure of hygiene that should never happen in any hotel, let alone one charging premium prices and claiming to offer luxury. It is revolting, unacceptable and completely undermines any confidence in the hotel’s cleanliness standards. After waiting for more than 1 hour and 2 calls to reception, someone finally came to change the bedsheets. I appreciate that you have offered a $100 credit, complimentary breakfast and a late checkout in response to the issue I experienced. However, I did not consider this an adequate response to what is a genuinely disgusting and unacceptable situation and only kept quiet because my wife asked me not to make a big deal about it. Then, somehow, after returning home, I discovered an extra charge on my Amex, and after calling the hotel, I was told that it was for the breakfast charge… what a joke… So yeah, really didn’t enjoy our stay, and will definitely not come back not recommend your hotel to anyone as I will make sure I share my experience with my family and friends.

My room was directly above the pool and I had no idea how loud it was going to be. I was trying to relax and do work and didn’t realise it was not the right hotel for that. It’s a shame the rooms are sound proof from the dance music.

we originally booked our accomodation at Mondrian online for 4 nights at a discounted rate from 21/9 - 25/9 for $624.51/night. However due to juggling the rest of the trip, we called up later on the same to amend the 4 nights to 26/9 - 30/9.
At check-in, unfortunately it came to our attention that the original online discount was not applied when we called to amend the dates. We sent an email during our stay enquiring about this and received no response.

We felt a little confused when we arrived at the Penthouse as no-one showed us through and we didn't know how to work things or find things which was a bit strange for a high value stay. We also felt the staff who we had to come and do a private dinner were quite disengaged with us and didn't really speak to us about much - the Chef didn't introduce any courses - we were basically left to our own devices. We also had music playing as it was a birthday celebration and at 9.30pm two staff members just walked in unnannouced to tell us to turn it down - I felt this was really inappropriate and it was quite a shock to see them just walk in. And they were quite aggressive at first where there was no need as it was only a small group of adults and my 20yr old children. I would hate this to happen to paying guests of mine. A phone call would have sufficed.

Thank you for hosting us for three nights in your largest suite. We want to share honest feedback, as we paid a premium price and expected a corresponding level of service.
What we loved: 1)The view is extremely stunning; 2) The 3-bedroom suite is beautifully designed; 3) The location is superb.
What disappointed us: 1) Butler service was poor. The WhatsApp group was only set up on our second day, after I had to ask twice, and responses were slow and unresponsive throughout our stay. 2) On checkout day (checkout time is 11am), we returned to the room at around 11:45am (as I thought it's 12pm, and I apologized for being late) to find some of our packed luggage had already been moved to the lobby — without anyone asking us first. This felt intrusive. The butler should have asked us via the WhatsApp group before entering the room or touching our belongings.
We chose to stay in your biggest suite for three days and paid accordingly, so the service fell far below our expectations. Sadly, we would not recommend this hotel to our friends.
We hope this feedback helps you improve, as the property itself has so much potential.

We loved the place. Enjoyed everything about it. Rooms were great, location amazing and people friendly, but it ended badly. We were overcharged on our final bill and items we did not order included. This was added after our departure bill. When reached out on email and whatsapp nobody returns. Nobody can explain what the extra charges are for and nobody is attentive to customer service or providing an itemised bill showing exactly what they are charging your for. I am not opposed to paying what we owe, but refuse to pay for things we did not order. VERY DISAPPOINTED that our beautiful stay ended so badly. So if you're going to stay here be very aware they are sneaky in adding stuff to your bill you did not order. Demand a fully itemized bill before agreeing for them to use your credit card. Probably will not risk staying here afain.
