I'm a four-time return customer and had specifically requested a high-level room. I requested a Pacific Fair view instead of an ocean view because I liked to have something to looked at night. What I eventually was given on arrival was a disappointing level 6, unrefurbished room that didn't even have a telephone! So this is how you treat your loyal customers! No thank you. I'll go somewhere else next year I think.

Unfortunately ,the apartment was certainly not up to normal standard. The hot plates did not work, the microwave was rusty and did not work, one of the ensuite sinks was blocked and did not drain well, the rangehood was broken and wires were exposed. Finding pencils on the carpet from previous guests makes me wonder if the unit had been vacuumed at all and the dining table leg was in a precarious position !! Most of this was fixed for us but we would rather have not had to complain.

Stayed in the 3 Bedroom Ocean Suite and extremely disappointed. The apartment looks nothing like the photos advertised online. The “ocean view” promoted in the listing is actually just a very small partial glimpse between surrounding buildings, or a side view from the balcony. The marketing creates a completely different expectation from what is actually provided. The condition and cleanliness of the apartment are well below an acceptable standard. There were brown staining and residue inside the kettle, significant staining and build‑up on the ensuite shower floor, cockroaches on the floor, heavily stained lounge cushions and dirty furniture, worn, stained dining chairs and unhygienic furnishings. This apartment is far from the “modern” accommodation advertised. Our allocated parking space had been taken by another guest. On the morning of our departure, Housekeeping arrived at around 9.20am (noting standard check out time is 10am) to service the apartment despite a later checkout having already been arranged. Shortly afterwards, reception called to offer us the late checkout again, suggesting a lack of communication between departments. The reception staff were the only positive experience and tried their best to assist. However we were told no alternative rooms were available. We were offered a replacement kettle and an additional clean during stay, which didn't happen. As paying guests, we should not be expected to stay in accommodation that is unhygienic, poorly maintained, and materially different from what was advertised. Overall, this stay has been extremely disappointing and does not reflect the standard we expected. I hope management will review this matter seriously and improve both the accuracy of their listings and the quality of their accommodation.
