Clean and well maintained. Unfortunately it room was at the very end a wing with no view. For the money I expected more. Far too many screaming kids for our liking. Staff were ok but found that walking past main reception they only acknowledged you if you spoke and said hello first.

The resort is run down, it is in need of refurbishment. The blinds in the rooms are covered in mould which is a serious health hazard. The main areas including the pool and pool furniture need an upgrade. The whole resort is very tired.

I stay with the Accor group as a matter of choice and have earned enough stay nights to reach platinum status. This has entitled me to all sorts of good things which I enjoy when travelling, but the peppers at Kingscliff was not as expected! The room was very small and at the backside of the hotel which did not feel resort at all. The customer service was ordinary, and for the expensive price of rooms did not include service. One would assume when booking a 4 star hotel that service of the room is included, but at peppers this is an “add on”. The pool opened late and closed early with no real meal options except snacks from the bar. When trying to call reception the phone just rang out. I am usually impressed with the group but on this occasion was disappointed.

Messy rooms and untrained staff
