Hi I booked a room with access to a plunge pool, we were given a hotel room, when I asked to be put into the room I had booked and paid for the person at the counter didn't believe me, he asked to see my booking information several times, as if it was going to read any different each time he looked at it. This made me feel unwelcome and under valued as a Accor gold card holder. While he offered a bottle of wine as compensation (of no value to me as I don't drink), being put into a room that is far inferior to what I had booked and paid for isn't good enough. I am a gold card holder with Accor and feel I should be treated appropriately. The person at check in rushed me through my check in because people were standing behind me then he took forever with them while I was waiting to get the error rectified. I shouldn't have been made to wait it was Peppers error not mine. I also had to ask for late check out and I feel its worth feeding back that the welcome gift for loyalty members isn't worth receiving. It was probably worth less than $5. This is no way to reward loyalty, it used to be so much more. Sorry but I wont be recommending you any time soon.

No drinking water inside the room

This is the first hotel I've stayed at that did not provide a water bottle. While I understand that some properties may prioritize sustainability or cost-saving measures, it would have been helpful if alternative options, such as a refill station or reusable bottles, were clearly communicated or made available in the room. Providing access to drinking water is a basic expectation for guests, and addressing this could enhance the overall guest experience.
