Staff largely unhelpful and gave incorrect information on multiple times. Made guests feel like a burden for checking-in or asking questions. Had to ask four times over two days for a basic request to be fulfilled. There appears to be a long-standing issue with birds nesting in an underground carpark. Car was covered with bird faeces after one night snd had to have it cleaned- clearly and issue hotel knows about and have tried to resolve in other areas. Additionally, the guest rooms are tired and old. Spend some money on basic upgrades.

The decisions by executives have created a poor customer experience. The staff didn’t inform us of there being no daily housekeeping. This wasn’t stated in any information provided, and is expected by customers. Furthermore, we were provided with the incorrect cards and sent to the wrong side of the hotel. We then had to go back, get the correct cards, to then find out no porta cot was in the room (yet it was requested the day before). The room didn’t feel clean either. We swept up a lot of sand from the floor.

Reception manager Julia? Was unfriendly and rude when checking in. Seemed she was stressed due to the massive line of people waiting and only one staff member to help. Chef at Seasons restaurant was also unhelpful with allergies and frankly rude about it.

Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable. The pools were lovely- though could do with a few more umbrellas for shade. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and tasty. Wine and cheese happy hour also a nice touch. We were spoilt for choice for places to dine - so many great options in Salt Village, making hotel restaurant look a bit quiet and uninviting. Few maintenance issues to attend to in room but in general a good stay. Not our first visit and expect won’t be last.
