Unfortunately, the apartment above or near us was undergoing renovations during our stay. Building work started very early each morning, which was quite disruptive and made it difficult to sleep in or relax in the apartment. While we were out for most of the day, the early morning noise did impact our overall experience. When I raised this with reception, I was advised that some apartments are privately owned, so there was little the resort could do. I understand this may be outside the resort’s control, but it would have been helpful to be informed in advance or allocated an apartment away from the renovation work. On a positive note, the location was excellent and the pools were great for the kids. One suggestion for improvement would be to add a games room or recreational area for older children and teenagers. Facilities such as a table tennis table or pool table would be a welcome addition and provide more entertainment options for families. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the renovation noise and additional activities for older children are areas that could further enhance the guest experience.

Although receptionist was polite on my arrival 4pm Tuesday 13/10 I did not feel my concerns regarding my mix up on day of arrival & departure was addressed adequately. This was my first experience with Peppers and while the facilities are above average I was very disappointed in guest services at reception.

I can’t say that our night at Peppers Salt was great. On checking in we found that the request I’d made over the phone on booking for two single beds was not met. Staff had to seperate and remake our room. The room was VERY small, with nowhere to put our open cases. Only two power points, not enough when two people have numerous devices. It was disappointing to find that there was only one choice for a mid afternoon snack from the reception bar and that was a toasty. We were very disappointed that the in-house restaurant only offered a German Menu for dinner so we ate at the local Pub. Breakfast was very good although understaffed.

Great facilities, location and resort. Staff were not overly friendly or helpful like I would have expected for a resort. Room was basic and was led to believe plunge pool was individual but was shared.

Booked 4 nights for a baby moon in a pool view suite. Room allocated had no pool view unless standing up and over the balcony - not at all as advertised. Complained and was issued with a room where the blinds were completely covered in black mould. Third room we were offered to inspect prior to moving our belongings, and this room had rubbish from a prior guest on the bedside table. We decided to leave and get a refund. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout, just disappointed with the state of this resort.

We recently stayed in a 2 bedroom ground floor room and was appalled at the finishings of this 4 star hotel. The lounges were leather severely deteriorated, the kitchen stools, the blinds, everything was dated and in poor condition. It’s a shame this hotel has a great generous pool, the location and general hotel is great. It’s a shame the rooms themselves are in this condition.

The resort was lovely. The same cannot be said about the room. Stains on the carpet, dirty end of bed cover, no cover for the doona which also didn't smell very clean, paid extra for a pool view but couldn't see it. Very disappointed. I did all the research but was left disappointed. One of the daily services was only a towel change, no bed making no filling up the coffee.
