As an Accor gold member, i was a bit disappointed re size of room (7003), and asked how often rooms were serviced and was told weekly, meaning my 5 day stay wasnt long enough. I had to ask for additional dry towels, the fridge was freezing items, and not even any water in room. Apart from this the complex surrounds are lovely, great location and breakfasts were great

Firstly.. I was put in a room that had been booked by someone else. I didn’t mind too much about the move as I had not fully unpacked. The room I got moved to, was not in great condition, as the chip board where the fridge was.. was very rotted and deteriorated. Aside from that… it was very dusty. I’m highly allergic to dust mite. I had to ask 2 times for it to be cleaned. It was eventually done, acceptable, but not great. I think for the cost of the room, this wasn’t a great experience

The hotel is in a beautiful area. The reception and pool area of the hotel are both clean and inviting but our room was very disappointing for the amount paid. The decor was dull, uninspiring and bore no reference to the beauty of the beach area we were staying in (no artwork on the bare walls) The furniture was old and shabby. The bathroom shower grout in need of a refresh and the white towels were old, thin and greying. There’s a coffee machine in the room but only 2 pods for 2 people for 3 nights appears frugal. The room wasn’t serviced during our stay so no additional supplies available. The budget style mugs and glasses perfectly matched the overall feel of the room. We have stayed previously and our room was better on that Occassion so maybe we were unlucky this time.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel/resort is very beautiful especially the lagoon pool area. It makes for a very relaxing and pleasant environment for a holiday. Salt Village and all of its restaurants are all within a short walking distance and it is centrally located as a base for exploring the Northern Rivers area of New South Wales.

Room was great, staff very friendly however breakfast very disappointing as eggs, bacon etc was always warm. Also eggs often hard. Coffee poor had to pay extra $7 for one to be made. Poor bar facilities/ atmosphere

Firstly youy need to make sure potential guests are fully informed about whats going on there. Perhaps this is a glitch in your communications with the travel agents. I booked this through expedia and there was no mention at all about the maintenance work or the spa at the lagoon pool area beingh closed. Had I known this I would have looked elsewhere. We actually stayed 6 nights. 3 through the exoedia booking with peppers and 3 through an airbnb listing . As mentioned the spa at the lagoon pool area was closed for maintenance the whole time. Although curiously we did not see anyone woreking on it for any of the 6 days we were there. For the first 2 nights we used the spa in the main lagoon pool area. This was nice. But then on the third day it was not operating. This was reported to the desk by us and otheres. The desk guy came out and fiddled with no success. Then a maintenance guy came out and fiddled and said he's have to get the pool guys out to fix it. This was on a Wednesday so no "can't get them on a weekend" excuse. There seemed to be no urgency at all and by both of their demeanours this was far from an isolated experience. I got the impression it was a common occurance. The spa was out of action for the remaining 4 days or our combined stays. Then to cap off my stay, the room keys we had for our private room stay (airbnb) did not allow access to the building after hours. I went to the desk on 2 separate occasions and was told. "nothing we can do about that youll have to contact the owner of the apartment. Are you kidding me. "Nothing you can do". You're the only ones that can do anything about it. The private owners don't have access to your key programming facilities. You are completely in charge or programming keys. It is entirely your responbsibility. And before you throw ion that you need the owneres to approve it, that would clearly be nonsense. Given the keys worked perfectly well for all of the internal stuff; rooms pool areas etc, theu ckearly should have 24 / 7 access to the external entries. No one needs to provide approval for thas. It's just plain obvious and I can't imagine why anyone who programmed these keys would have thought otherwise. But one good thing came lout of the stay. I am looking to purchase in the area for my twilight years. One of our options is Peppers as is Mantra across the road. I have looked at 3 peppers aparments and one at Bales. I won't be bothered lookinbg at any more. I know what your body corporate fees. These stay were like a "try it before you buy" exercise. Well I've tried it and certainy won't be buying it given the level of service I would expect to get from Accor. You're body corp fees should buy an awful lot more than the service you are providing

Beautiful pool, lovely staff, great value that probably reflects the rooms are getting pretty tired looking and need a little update. Not major but the apartment is showing its age and could be bought up to date with major renovation.

Dated accomodation. Phone in room didn’t work. Compendium and phone indicated there was room service but there was not. Confusing carpark. Lovely pool. Kitchen facilities were poor and difficult to use. Plates had not been cleaned properly. Great to provide a cot.

We have enjoyed previous stays quite a few times over the years but this time not so much. As we were booking in upon arrival , we were informed that there would be no water the next day between 10am and 3pm. This meant then that we would have to be away from our room during this time , to have access to a toilet. Also, the toilet button in our bathroom was faulty & had to be repaired. We were also not impressed with the menu in the Seasons Restaurant so chose to eat at the Salt Bistro each night . My 80 year old husband was not too happy about having to come back home & immediately wash the car to remove all bird droppings after having our car parked in the car park. On the plus side , the staff were all friendly & helpful.
