We have been good regular customers over a number of years and this has been one of our favourite places to visit. But sadly the standard has dramatically dropped. Room firstly both phones not working even after complaining and maitenance confirming this was the case over the 4 nights never fixed. The tv set is hard to operate and bo booklet in room to help operate it. We eventually found a compendium hidden beneath a cupboard Staff in hotel young inexperienced and not overly helpful. Assistant mamager was good and helpful only one

The rooms are lovely and spacios and the pool area is beautiful. My only feedback is that the rooms over-looking the pool on Level 2 all have concrete walls on the balcony which blocks the view of the pool. I was in a corner room where I couldn't really see the pool all that well considering I have booked a pool view one-bedroom apartment. I noticed other balconies on my level had high top tables and chairs to see over the concrete wall, however I had a low set table and chairs, so when I sat down, I couldn't see the pool. The check-in experience was not good, there was a massive line for check-in with 2 staff behind the desk which made it a very slow process. There should have been more staff to assist with the high number of check-ins that day. Also, the pool bar is not what I expected. It appeared to just be a tressle table with a cloth over it and 1 staff member serving all the guests in the pool. I would suggest developing the pool bar to be bigger and have more presence to suit the resort. While I enjoyed my stay, there are a couple of areas for improvement as listed above.

No in room mini bar items, no place to put the kettle, no room service, very dirty bathroom and all for the luxury of nearly $500 for the night. So incredibly understaffed and completely disappointing. Needs an upgrade on all levels and the price should be significantly reduced to reflect its current terrible standard. And now this review won’t even save.
