The outdoor balcony hadn't been cleaned. There was cigarette ash all over the floor and broken glass. I found a toe nail clipping on the rug and a dirty sock under the lounge.

Your booking system said we had paid and were booked. We checked in, all fine. 24 hours later you chased us for payment. Saying we hadn’t paid. Countless calls, visits to your desk and trying to work through the problem. Ended up paying in good faith as my trip was paid through office expense. Then your system said we didn’t purchase a room rate that included housekeeping. We stayed at the hotel in January and got housekeeping. Same booking system, same booking confirmation but your system was saying other things. Staff at reception explained it is a problem with the “App”. This is not good enough, we paid for a service and didn’t get it. If we wanted an air bnb we would have booked and air bnb. But we didn’t we booked for someone to clean our room and charge our sheets and spoil ourselves. So - twice we were let down. Finally - the room we stayed in 1303 was lovely and had great views. But the carpet was filthy. Around the kitchen was black with stains on a white/cream carpet. You need to do much better. Staff were great though. Bayley and the office manger lady. But they should have to bear the brunt of your poor systems

Peppers did not disappoint. Customer service through out all of my communications with the staff was outstanding. Accommodations was outstanding with the oceans views providing whale watching experience everyday. The apartment was out of this world. Well located. Once again Peppers did not disappoint. As an Accor Platinum member i was disappointed on a few levels. Firstly. its not ideal that you can't even chose what tower you can stay in. We paid $4600 for 5 nights across 2 rooms and were in tower 2 which has a tiny pool and is in shade until atleast 12pm.... Why we were not able to access tower 2 pool is beyond me as it's still Peppers and we paid alot of money. Secondly, i expressed my disappointment to Peppers Broadbeach reception in an email and got NO REPLY. it's not good enough. Will not be recommending this stay to anyone - let alone an Accor Platinum member..... only caveat being you should be able to chose what tower you book so you know what you are getting. It should not be left until your arrival to find out if you landed the better of the 2 hotels.....

Peppers Broadbeach operates across both towers, and all room types can be allocated in either building. Each tower is considered the same standard in terms of room quality and building features. Both of our towers have their own set of facilities such as pool, gym, sauna, steam room and private theatrette for guests to use. As the towers are managed under separate body corporates, guests are only able to access the facilities within the tower in which they are staying. We do take our guests’ preferences and requests seriously, and we are sorry that we were unable to accommodate your request to be allocated to Tower 1 on this occasion. While we always do our best to accommodate preferences, we are unable to guarantee a particular tower allocation. We are sorry that you had not received a response from our reception team. Large rooms in a great location, however the master shower was covered in mould and mildew. No one form the hotel has bothered to follow up my complaint.

It was a great experience, though the rubbish bin had a horrendous smell in it. I asked my husband to call and request that it be changed over as I was working, but he never got round to it (men on holiday...). Please save the next guest from the smell and get rid of the rubbish bin in the kitchen.

It was great to stay here. Staff were amazing starting with Isaac who runs a great front office. We were so impressed we have already booked for next year for 2 months. Very close to everything, fine dining, casual dining, shops and beach. Everything within walking distance. Looking forward to returning.

We had a one bedroom apartment for our three night stay. We found the apartment comfortable with all that we needed. Whilst I was aware the hotel had no restaurant nevertheless it is disappointing that no complimentary breakfast options are available for Platinum/Diamond members. Providing complimentary parking was appreciated. The staff we had any contact with were all welcoming and pleasant.
