Dear Kim, Thank you for taking the time to complete a questionnaire following your recent stay at Peppers Broadbeach, I am sorry that your experience was a mixed one, please allow me to express my apologies. I am disappointed to read that you did not feel that your stay was good value for money and that you were not recognised as an Accor Live Limitless member which I have shared with the Front Office Manager to ensure that all of our Team are delivering membership benefits across all Loyalty levels, including complimentary wi-fi for our Classic members. I am sorry that the television in your room did not live up to your expectation, we are currently working with all of our apartment Owners on a refurbishment program to update some of the room features including an non-smart televisions to ensure better satisfaction levels for our guests. Dear Eric, Thank you for taking the time to complete a questionnaire following your recent stay at Peppers Broadbeach, I am sorry that your experience was a mixed one, please allow me to express my apologies. I am sorry that the cyclone interrupted your trip to the Gold Coast and I am disappointed that you felt that the Hotel was not prepared for the event, even though notices were placed on all floors 3 days prior to the cyclone arriving. Running the 2 Hotel towers without power for 3 days was an unprecedented event and generator power in place of mains power delivered a number of extra challenges which including a water pump failure which was rectified in a timely manner on Saturday. Extended TV downtime was due to offsite factors whilst the cyclone also affected phone and internet services across the Gold Coast on Saturday and I would like to apologise for both of these occurrences during your stay. Due to working under high electrical load, generator fuel usage was excessive in the Tower you were staying in compared with the other Tower requiring more regular refills, something we are now working with the generator technicians to better understand and I am sorry for the inconvenience that being without power on 2 separate occasions caused you. Once mains power was restored the Team quickly commenced clean up and re-established full services including pools across each tower by midday on Monday. I appreciate you sharing your comments Eric as they assist may team and I enhance our products and services and it is my hope that you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back to Peppers Broadbeach in the future to create some better memories for you. I am sorry that you did not enjoy the location of the room that was allocated to you on the third floor and you were able to hear exterior noise. I have shared your comments about your room with the Executive Housekeeper and Maintenance Manager to ensure that all rooms are presented at their optimum for our guests. I apologise that you had to call the Hotel to request your receipt and I have discussed this matter with the Front Office Manager to ensure that the Team are more proactive in assisting our guests.
