BreakFree Diamond Beach is a family friendly low rise resort, consisting of spacious and self contained 1, 2, and 3 Bedroom apartments. The resort is located on 6.5 acres nestled amongst tropical landscaping and complimented with outstanding resort facilities. Resort features include two large lagoon pools, one of which is heated all year round. Additional features include two spas, 10 barbecues, children's playground and children's novelty pool.

Broadbeach is becoming one of the Gold Coast's fastest growing resort areas, and has a reputation for being slightly more relaxed than its neighbour Surfers Paradise.

While we try our best to allocate ground floor apartments for guests when requested, this cannot be guaranteed. Some rooms will be impacted to construction noise from 6:30am - 6:30pm Mon - Sat. There will be light rail overnight construction occurring which may cause noise disruption until 31 Dec 2024.

Have been staying at Diamond Beach since spending our honeymoon here 31 years ago. Have lost count of how many times we have been here but certainly close to 20 times and will always return. Pools, BBQ area first rate. Location can’t be beaten.

I only don’t want to leave a bad review because I know how damaging they can be. I’ve barely left a bad review in my life. I’m the type of person that just moves on, assumes maybe someone had a bad day, I’ll even eat food with a hair in it, pull the hair out and keep going. But I have to comment on this experience. The room was incredibly dirty. We had just stayed at Turtle Beach Resort for 7 days prior and it was immaculate, so the difference was night and day. We only moved to your accommodation because it was closer to a conference I was attending, and if I could have afforded it I would have left and gone back, even if it meant losing the money. There were multiple issues throughout the stay. The dryer didn’t work, there was only one air conditioner servicing a three bedroom apartment, and the internet was so weak that Foxtel was unusable. I couldn’t watch the NRL properly, it was so glitchy I had to watch it on my phone instead. The bathroom smelt and had visible mould throughout, and the water backed up in the ensuite, even during a short shower, covering the bathroom floor. The doors didn’t lock and the balcony was shared without lockable doors, which made my wife feel unsafe at times especially because she was there with 4 kids whilst i attended the conference. The walls had what looked to us what should have been flushed not wiped on the walls, the extraction fans were covered in dust & pubic hairs & the pillows marked with black marks / dirt? To be fair, the pool and BBQ area were clean and well maintained, but the apartment itself was filthy. The dust behind the TV in the main bedroom was cm's thick, not exaggerating. The blanket on my daughter’s bed had stains on it that looked like either blood or food, either way we had to swap bedding so she could sleep comfortably and i used that blanket. Overall, this was a really disappointing experience and well below what we expected. I booked with accor thinking it was a reputable company being so wide scale but we didnt sleep the entire time. I didnt raise it with the team on site as i didnt have time to move, we set up the house and i had to go to the conference. We stayed for 2 weeks this holiday, and we do not look at anywhere else to stay. If you like a holiday that you can swim, eat and drink, relax on repeat and be walking distance to everything Diamond Beach Resort is the place for you.
