The studio room we stayed in was clean and well kept. I didn't see any dust. King bed and sofa bed were comfortable and we had a good rest. However, the hotel mainly is old but it isn't bad so nothing fancy. There are no slippers in the room too but it's not a deal breaker. Room amenities were pretty look (e.g. tv, stove, microwave, iron). There was even a washing machine and a dryer. We weren't fond of the shower layout though. It was a combined bath tub and shower and it was located right beside the toilet bowl. So it was a bit tricky going into the bath tub for a shower. All in all, we were satisfied as it was really easy to get back to the hotel after going around in the QVB, Darling Harbour, and around the shops in George Street. Staff was also quite friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

The staff could not do enough for us,anything we asked for they helped with. We had an upgrade to the top floor room 2701 had 2 balconies on the top floor with 1 having the view of the centre tower and the other a view of darling harbour. The breakfast was great and the kitchen was happy to make us eggs of our choice. It's a buffet breakfast with bacon eggs mushrooms tomatoes fruit cereal and pastries. I usually prefer to stay at a mantra with a pool and spa option, however for the price it was value for money.

Checking in at 8am expecting to leave our bags until the room was ready we were given a room immediately. Room was large, extremely well priced for a one night stay at short notice. Clean, tidy and perfectly located.
