The unit was very good and much better than our last one, unfortunately there was construction noise from the next unit for the first three days which was very disappointing

The location was very good. Ease of access to the beach, marina and nearby town was handy. The cleanliness of the room was very disappointing. Among the worst I have stayed in. From the moment we arrived and opened the door there was an overwhelming odour of what smelled like stale pet urine or similar. We left the windows open to air it out and for the first two days it was just about unbearable. I believe it to was eminating from the lounge. I ended up using a dining chair instead. I requested another room however due to there being no vacancy this was not possible. Bedroom light didnt work in the 2nd room, stove stopped working a couple of times forcing a reset via the rcd and half a roll of toilet paper for 4 people and 5 days. All that aside, the smell was awful.

The location was convenient. The unit was clean large and great view. It didn’t have a car space with a roof cover, you can hear talking and tv noise coming from above below and either side of the unit so walls are not sound proofed very well

We enjoyed our 2-night stay at BreakFree Hervey Bay. The apartment was clean and comfortable, although it is looking a little tired and could benefit from some updating. The location was excellent, especially for our whale-watching cruise, with everything conveniently close by. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay.

We loved the unit , unfortunately it was up a three flights of stairs which wasnt very good for two of our elderly family . There were no towel hangers in the ensuite .

We have stayed here 3 times however this time quality of the property was lacking. 1. The outdoor furniture was rusting and we felt unsafe to use it. 2. The hinges (bath door and shower door) in both main bathroom and ensuite were mouldy. 3. One glass door to the patio was too hard to open therefore could not use it.. 4. The outdoor light to the garage did not work. 5. The door going to garage did not lock. 6. The knob from bedside table came off in my hand. 7. Only one spare blanket when there were 3 staying at the unit. 8. The patio area pavers where clothesline is (leading to garage door) was overgrown with weeds. 9. The garden beds outside patio had weeds throughout the plants, along with grass growing in it. Basically no gardening apart from mowing was done. 10. The flyscreens do not have a lock therefore if wanting fresh air through the doors while sleeping, would not be able to do so. 11. One globe from the bedside light was broken. 12. One wall in the loungeroom had been 'poly-filled and sanded' but left unpainted. 13. No access to wifi without having to obtain a dongle from the office upon leaving a deposit. These all may seem like minor things to you however when someone has paid good money for a holiday then these things should be checked prior to renting out an apartment. I have since checked prices of similar apartments in the same area and they are no more expensive to yours and some are less expensive. I do not feel the apartment was up to scratch and I would not recommend it to anyone. I do have photos of these issues if there is a place in this survey that I can upload them to. I will also be doing a Google review within the next couple of days. On saying all this, the staff were friendly and polite. The cleaner of this apartment had done a good job and the place was clean. The issue is lack of repairs and upgrading.
