Our stay was certainly not what we have been used to with Accor unfortunately. Rooms were clean, although room 41 could have done with some touch up paint in the bedrooms and toilet area. quite well stocked with crockery etc, and beds comfortable. Pool towels very poor ~ need replacing. Also disappointing no dryer in room 30. we were aware of no wifi or lift, and although we weren’t overly concerned, i still don’t understand the wifi bit in this day and age. We did however expect that at least the TV would work. Perhaps it would not have been as much of an issue except for State of Origin game being on which my husband really enjoys. We Reported to reception, that evening but were told we needed to see them again the next morning and the staff indicated it was a known issue and needed a contractor. Why were we not advised on checkin, or moved to a different room or been given the option of moving, before carrying everything upstairs and unpacking. We wasted an hour trying to get it to work, and thought it was our age and a technology issue! We were given a different room by lunch time on the second day but it took 1.5 hours to pack our things and move everything up and down the steps from one block to the next (waste of holiday time). We did stay at the mantra next door on our last visit but will say our room at Breakfree was actually better in space and layout.
