There was no wi-fi. Somewhere nearby, unit below or next door lived a cigarette smoke. i could not leave balconey door or windows oen as cigarette smoke kept coming into the unit.

Staff were pleasant at both check-in and departure, the unit was well presented, in a great position, perfect for a holiday for any age group. The living area was directly adjoining the grassed area outside our door, with the living area on that side of the unit.

Enjoyed our stay, great spot, only down side was the quite loud and annoying water pipe noises early in the morning from the unit above Unit 50 when people moved in on the last two days.

We stay at Breakfree at least once or twice a year and have never had a problem, but this time I was very disappointed in the check in. We rang ahead of time and were told that if we came in our room would be ready for us after we filled in our paperwork. As we thought the room would be ready we went to the supermarket on the way in and bought some groceries. We arrived and filled in the paperwork only to be told the room wasn’t ready. Then were told it wasn’t far off ready and he would ring me with in the next hour. If it wasn’t for my sister staying there our cold food would have been no good as we didn’t get in to our room until normal check in. We were then rang about 1 to say it was ready and then headed to the office to be told that it wasn’t ready, again. ( it was). We requested room 131 and we did get that room but the top floor was closed off. I do understand why it was but we stayed in that room so we can have upstairs with the walk-in shower due to my husbands Back injury. We booked it as a 2brm but we only intended to use it as a one bedroom top floor. We finally got the top floor opened up as this lovely young man came into the office as I was asking about it and he had no problems in helping us. The young fellow in reception that day was lovely but had no idea. I am a gold member and I have to say that all the times a have stayed there I have been well looked after( Kathy has always looked after me.) Sorry she wasn’t there this time as I don’t think I would have had such a awful check in experience.

This resort is in a lovely spot. The apartments are all looking out over the water. Our apartment was a two bedroom and it had all that we needed. The resort itself is looking tired but the unit inside was spotless and very roomy. The only down side was the mould in the grout in the bathroom. This is usually due to the age of the building but I was tempted to buy some bleach and spray it to see if I could get it off. There is also no wifi. On calling reception they offered us a dongle which worked but that probably should be explained at checkin. The staff were so helpful. We will stay again. The staff

Unfortunately our room this time was terrible. We had a cockroach infestation, the mattress in the main bedroom was collapsed in the middle and the shower door in the ensuite was falling off it's hinges.

The apartment was in a great location for catching the whale viewing boat. The undercover carpark was appreciated. The apartment itself was adequate and very good value.

Great location, booking easy, lovely service. However the room needed improvement, especially the ensuite where visible mould was present.

The unit was very good and much better than our last one, unfortunately there was construction noise from the next unit for the first three days which was very disappointing

Check-in is easy. Staff friendly and helpful. Only issue is walking from reception with luggage to the far end near breakwall as I have mobility issues.
