Whilst the Mantra is in a great location, the hotel is tired. The hotel rooms are small & the bathroom is no longer functional with a shower over a bath. I’m short & struggled to get in & out of the bath, nearly slipping as I got out. The shower barely had pressure from the trickle of water. Definitely need non slip mats/dots in the bath but a walk in shower would be ideal & more functional. The lifts were very slow & quicker to walk up the stairs. I work in tourism & recommend the Mantra for its location however it’s not a hotel I would recommend for elderly or corporate guests going forward. There is no USB ports or anywhere to charge devices-with everyone permantly attached to a device these days, having charging functionality is a necessity. We enjoyed our stay as it was only short but unfortunately not a hotel I could recommend until the hotel has had a much needed upgrade & refurbishment.

Additionally, we do have room configurations featuring walk-in showers available upon request prior to arrival. For rooms with shower-over-bath setups, our team can immediately provide non-slip mats and bath steps upon request to ensure a safer and more comfortable experience. Regarding charging options, while our rooms are equipped with standard Australian power outlets throughout that accommodate regular phone and device chargers, we take note of your feedback regarding dedicated USB ports as we look at future room enhancements. Your observations regarding the lifts have also been passed on to our maintenance team.
