I arrived after a long drive. 1. Check in was slow and the key cards did not work so required a return to reception. The person solved the issue but did not apologise 2. The hotel is looking tired and dates 3. There was a water outage that was due to finish at 4. This was delayed. When the water came on it was noisy and more concerning after using the sink to wash my teeth there was residue in the sink!

As advised in the notice provided to guests, we recommend running the taps for a short period once the water service resumes to clear any temporary sediment that may be present following the interruption. Friendly and helpful check in staff. Room a bit small and tired, but well provisioned and quiet. Only real downside was the utterly terrible internet. An incredibly helpful member of the reception team sorted me out with a dongle so I could get some work done, but I don’t think in the twenty first century the general WiFi service is acceptable- I was told this is a longstanding problem and no effort has remade by the owners to fix it. Good view of the marina from my room, easy parking. Overall, the Oaks is probably a better bet.

Pillows were too hard, need a range of pillows to suit all guests. Free wifi was woeful

Room was very clean and comfortable.The spa bath was not working and we reported it and were told that the maintenance manbwoul look at it.We reminded them later and we proceeded to go out for a couple of hours .Then we got a message to say we could move to another room where the spa bath was working.On our last day i sent a message asking if we stayed an extra night could we get a special rate,this would of been our fourth night.I got an email back saying that because we were an accor member we could have a 5% discount,i just didn't feel this was enough with what happend with the spa.It was my wifes birthday.
