The Sofitel is in a great location, not far from local places to eat, shop and drink. They also have their own restaurants and breakfast option. The pools are nice as there is a split between children and adults if that is what you need and a good size for a swim. The food at breakfast was a nice range and good quality and the staff at the restaurant were lovely. The room was spacious.

The rooms are dated and need a refresh. The beds were comfortable, the staff were good. The elevators were slow, it seemed like not all were in use which meant sometimes waiting minutes to get into the elevator. A cleaning trolley was left in the hallway for the entire 3 days which just gives a feeling of disorganisation. There were annoying noises, machinery or something fro most of the night. The gym is way too small, there is more room in the corridor outside the gym than the actual gym.

The hotel is extremely convenient however you’d quite tired and dated. The staff was fabulous and and the food and bar very good. Jim needs an uplift and needs to be bigger. YOU charts significantly for the room and its not considered value for money
