We paid over $400 per night for 5 nights and left very Disappointed to say the least. We often stay in modern Accor Motels but the Sofitel here looks like nothing has been updated for over 20 years. A kettle and 2 coffee mugs were the only room facilities except for a 20+ year old TV that you can't access Streaming on. The room clearly hasn't had any improvements for many years, shower head leaks and no soap or shampoo. I've stayed in $150 a night Motels in better condition.

All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful - thank you. Our room was immaculate and included the amenities that we expected, including the ocean view. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but we were only there for 2 nights. The variety and quality of the food available at the breakfast buffet was good. We were surprised that the cost of parking wasn't included in the nightly rate considering the age of the hotel. Overall a pleasant stay.

I booked two King Riverview rooms and specifically requested that both rooms be on the same floor, as the booking was made together. While this request was accommodated, one of the rooms provided was not a Riverview room and was significantly smaller than the other. When this was raised with reception, we were advised that the room was indeed a Riverview room, which was not the case. As a result, my friends were extremely disappointed and were required to move rooms again during their stay, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. In addition to this, there was a noticeable damp smell throughout the hotel, giving the impression that the property is in need of an update. I would like to note that the staff were polite and helpful, and the cleanliness of the hotel was maintained well.
