Rooms freezing. Aircon inoperable. Building in serious need of refurbishing. Our one meal (dinner) very average. On a positive note staff and engineering support tried hard to fix clearly unfixable problems. No problems with the staff. Also breakfasts good.

As previously mentioned our stay was a pleasant one…Staff attitudes and attention to detail, really do “make or break” any hotel stay. We appreciated all of your kind hospitality and the extra lengths you went to make our stay memorable. My sister and I often share a hotel room close to our aged Mother who currently resides in a Aged Care Centre. The Valet Parking made such a difference. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed Dinner too. On the flip side…. Sofitel Broadbeach is an older hotel in need of renovation or major “freshen up”and with a focus on new beds, and decent pillows. (The Sofitel “My Bed” and a pillow menu) In the meantime your focus must always remain on extending great hospitality to your guests… Just a thought…. A Seniors Day ( Special Luncheon) once a week would be a blast 💥 It is proving popular in some of the smaller communities.
