Hi! The pool and jacuzzi weren't open when I was after them - they closed quite early. That's the only change I'd make.

The hotel is clean, the room was clean, the breakfast buffet was good and the staff were friendly. However, considering it is the Sofitel and the price paid for the room, you would expect a wow factor, toiletries amenities, I don't know, just something else that makes you feel you are at the Sofitel, unfortunately, none of that!!

The mattress and pillows in the rooms are awful and old! The balcony is not a safe height especially for children. The addition of a coffee shop would be a great bonus, keep guests in house more. Pool area is old and tired.

I am genuinely sorry to learn that your experience did not meet the expectations shaped by your previous stays at Sofitel properties. I regret that the comfort of the mattress and pillows, the condition of the pool area and the overall presentation of the hotel detracted from your stay. Your comments regarding balcony safety, particularly when travelling with children, are also taken very seriously. Please be assured that we are currently in the initial stages of discussions with our owners regarding future capital enhancements, and feedback such as yours is invaluable in helping us prioritise areas that require attention and investment. I do appreciate your thoughtful suggestion regarding the addition of a coffee shop, as well as your honest comments around WiFi access and sustainability practices. While I am disappointed that cleanliness did not meet expectations, I would like to sincerely thank you for recognising Nadia from our Housekeeping team for her kindness and service, which I will gladly share with her. Easy check in only thing I would like to mention is booked through travel agent but had to leave a $300 deposit when checking in from my credit card which was taken out immediately, usually it is only a holding deposit and not taken out only if it is necesssry so was very surprised.
