Well located but the hotel is old and seriously needs a reno. Entering the room, there was a musky smell, had to open the balcony doors to get rid of smell. Room was OK but is not 5 star. Bathroom needs an upgrade. Shower is too small. TV programs was very limited. There was a bottle of water on the table which I assume was complimentary but did not touch it because the note attached to it did not note that it was complimentary. It should be more specific if it was.

As soon as we got there till the last minute, the staff were so amazing! First time traveling overseas with our baby and they were very welcoming. Had breakfast every morning, and all the staff were so lovely, helping and great at remembering us.

the moment i checked in i realized that Accor hotels have a "cookie cutter" approach. despite being a gold member and principal organizer of a conference at the venue involving 80 people. i was offered a standard room with 'mountain views' - not the preferred ocean views. in addition, the hallway had been impacted by water ingress and the whole apartment smelt of mould. i had to ask for a change of room but still did not receive an upgrade the level of service and standards of facilities have significantly fallen at this venue, which was once a preferred destination on the gold coast

Excellent. Although I did find it concerning not having mattress protectors on the bed! Not too hygenic!

I enjoyed my stay at Sofitel Broadbeach\. The hotel is in a great location, and my room on the 21st floor had lovely views overlooking the beach and ocean\. The staff were attentive, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom amenities were a nice touch\. However, it was disappointing that there wasn’t an Executive Lounge, particularly for a five\-star hotel and especially a Sofitel\. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and great value for the room rate I paid.
