Things I loved The location: I had everything I needed within walking distance. The staff were lovely: super helpful and kind. My children loved the pool. The things I didn't like The beds sounded like they were on cardboard boxes; crunch noises when you sat on them. The bed and pillows were not comfortable; you could pay to have better pillows. One of the lifts opened unevenly, and my daughter and I nearly rolled our ankles when we stepped out. I did mention it to the concierge. Someone set off the fire alarm or something on our level at 10 pm. We had to evacuate, only to find out. It was a false alarm! The Fire Brigade still had to come and fix the problem. It was very overwhelming for my children. My daughter and I were sick most of the holiday. I had to take her to the hospital one night due to her cough. I can’t be sure, but I feel like it was due to having the air-conditioner on; the air being filtered I go the room was making us sicker.

It’s heartwarming to know that our staff were able to provide kindness and support during your visit, and that your children enjoyed our pool. However, I regret that several aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations and impacted your overall experience. The concerns you raised about the bed and pillows, as well as the noise from the bed frame, are certainly not in line with the comfort we strive to provide. Restful sleep is such an essential part of a family getaway, and I am truly sorry that we let you down in this regard. Your comments will be shared with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to investigate and resolve these issues promptly. I am also very concerned to hear about the lift not aligning properly and the safety risk it presented. Please rest assured that I have immediately escalated this matter to our engineering team to ensure the lift is thoroughly inspected and the issue rectified. The safety and comfort of our guests are always our top priorities. The false fire alarm and subsequent evacuation must have been a very distressing experience for you and your children. While we take any fire alarm very seriously for the safety of our guests and staff, I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience and anxiety this caused. We will be reviewing our protocols to see if there are ways to minimise disruption while maintaining safety compliance. It saddens me to hear that you and your daughter were unwell during your stay, and I sincerely hope you are both feeling much better now. I understand how challenging it must have been to manage illness on top of your holiday plans. Your comments about the air-conditioning have been noted, and I will have our maintenance team check the filtration systems in your room to ensure they are functioning correctly. Bruised and bad food

In the pool area, the back wooded steps were not marked slippery, there was no grip tape on the steps like the front wood steps, I slipped down the whole flight and ended up with a dinner plate size black bruise on my hip. In the restaurant, me and my wife had the scotch fillet steak, which was the worst cut of meat I have had in the last decade, a rubber boot that resembled a $10 steak at a back ally pub. The room had a good view, the staff were friendly.

I am an accor member did not experience the benefits everyone raves about being a member no welcome platter etc I booked for my friend under my name as a xmas present but did not get the points on my account Overall very disappointed being a member and not treated like a member that every other hotel chain gives you kind of ruined my graduation trip as everyone else wanted to stay in a apartment but I convinced them the membership we would get treated special i have reviewed this hotel on the Accor fb page as dissatisfied
