Appreciated the room upgrade, however my room didn’t have a hair dryer. My colleagues didn’t have an iron and another colleague had a broken iron. Tiled floors are elevated from the carpet and an accident waiting to happen.

The Mantra was perfectly located within the local Broadbeach area, with everything within walking distance. The 1 bedroom apartment (#202) assigned to me was superb. • Great open-plan kitchen, meals and lounge area which opens onto a spacious balcony, offering privacy and wonderful views of the park, streetscape and beautiful sunsets. • Amenities includes all the mod cons one needs, crockery, cutlery, bathroom products and linen. (Tip: As limited dish/laundry washing satchets are provided, it pays to buy some basics e.g. air freshener, laundry/dishwasher detergent, coffee etc which can be easily purchased at Woolworths in the Oasis nearby.) • Bedroom includes queen bed, cabinetry, wardrobe, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, windows with curtains. • The well-appointed bathroom is accessible from the bedroom or main lounge area. • The building itself is well presented with surrounding gardens, has good security and includes an underground carpark. I would definitely stay here again when I next visit Broadbeach.

Everything at you doorstep. Light rail to take you shopping. Beach a 5 minute walk. Facilities were great, loved the steam room and sauna. Everything was clean and tidy. Noise was not an issue, even though you were near the main road. The only negative was the bed, very uncomfortable and only a queen size.

Great location. Have stayed twice before and recommend you to friends who have stayed with you as well. Our apartment this time was very run down ,dirty and ill equipped in the kitchen. I had to ask for it to be cleaned when we got there and again if we could have it serviced after the first week. I didn’t bother to ask again. We stayed two and a half weeks.

I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 people (2 couples) and as a Mantra OWNER I get a discount on my accommodation. As I have stayed at this location twice before, I requested a park side room. On arrival I was taken to a very run down and quite dirty room with a small concrete balcony, it had one ripped vinyl 3 seater couch, and two chairs on the balcony, soap residue on the bathroom bench and did NOT face the park, we were a party of 4. I asked reception if we could be moved to the park side as i'd requested and she said yes, give her 5 minutes for the swap. She then rang me back and said management have said no because I have discounted accomodation!! (regardless that is was an owners discount). I then asked if we could please be moved to another room, one not so shoddy with at least seating for 4 people, she did move us but was very rude and chose not to speak to us anymore. As we had moved rooms, the 2nd bedroom still had two single beds so I asked if they could push those together when they had time. I was told one housekeeper had gone home and she didn't know what the other one was doing (this was all at check in time 2pm). I then got a call to say housekeeping were too busy and would come tomorrow .... after a 4 night stay .... we're still waiting, beds never came together. As this was a birthday gift, I was extremely embarrassed as I had really talked up Mantra on the Park based on my previous stays. I am disappointed as an owner that this is how the public are being treated and feel you have really let down the brand (this review will be copied to corporate administration). Unfortunately I don't feel I want to stay there again. I do have 3 trips booked next year and have now booked elsewhere (not Mantra, I'd prefer to pay full price and be treated kindly by the staff)

We are genuinely sorry to hear that your recent stay did not meet the standard you have come to expect from Mantra on the Park, particularly as a Mantra Owner and returning guest. We are pleased that our team was able to move you to another room for the duration of your stay and appreciate that you were happy to make the move. The park view was not available for your stay this time and we cannot guarantee that a park view request can be met as we do not manage all the units this building. However, we acknowledge that your initial room did not meet your expectations and that the communication surrounding your request for a park-side room could have been handled much more appropriately. We are particularly disappointed that your request to have the two single beds pushed together was not followed through during your four-night stay. This should have been communicated and actioned more effectively, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment this caused. Your comments regarding the condition of the room, the seating provided and your interactions with reception have also been noted. We understand how disappointing this experience would have been, especially as your stay was intended as a birthday gift and you had previously spoken highly of Mantra Broadbeach on the Park. We will be following up with both our Reception and Housekeeping teams regarding the communication and follow-through of your requests, so that we can identify where we fell short and ensure this is not repeated. We truly value your history with Mantra and regret that this experience has affected your confidence in returning to the brand. These are just some comments that I believe will improve the experience for all occupants. 1. A couple of lamps in the livingroom to get some low level lighting (as in the bedroom) to create a relaxing ambience which the overhead lights don't do. 2. The slight step-up to the tiled bathroom floor is just enough to stub a toe - a shaped timber sill would improve this detail and eliminate potential imnjuries by tripping. 3. The curtains have some hangers misssing. 4. Access to the gym after reception staff have left is a problem. Overall however a very pleasant stay - even though the apartment interior is somewhat dated and needs a makeover.

We were attending the trade show at the convention centre. Fabulous location, we were very happy. Yet checked in early, room was not ready which is fine. Front desk asked us if we would be back by 4.30pm to collect the key otherwise we would be a late check in. We came back at 5.20pm, could not get in the door. Tried the intercom link 5 times as well as calling on my mobile before someone answered. Because she answered my mobile call she said she could not open the door and disconnected the call. Finally, someone coming out let us into the building. Then to get back onto someone to get the code to open the safe to get the key to call numerous tries. Utterly ridiculous and what a waste of 45 minutes, it was only 5.20pm. Then one key to get into the room. We both attended different events that night linked to the trade show, and we had to call each other to get the key when offsite. I would not stay here again just due to this mess around. You need to staff the front desk at least to 7pm.

We sincerely apologise for the frustration you experienced with the after-hours access and the time it took to reach our after-hours assistance. Our reception hours are until 5:00pm, as outlined on our website, with an external service assisting guests and monitoring calls outside these hours. However, we understand that this does not make your experience any less frustrating. We will certainly pass your feedback on to our external after-hours service regarding the difficulty getting through and the delay in receiving assistance. We also appreciate your comments regarding the single room key and understand how inconvenient this was given you were attending separate events. We do only provide one key for after hour arrivals as the keys are going in to the safe. However we do have a second key available at reception for collection the next day when reception is open. Friendly staff. Only small concern was access to smart Tv features. Netflix was entirely in Chinese. Couldn’t mirror iPhone to the Android Tv. No great problem.
