I recently stayed at the property and would like to share my experience, as several service and operational issues significantly affected the quality of my stay. To begin with, the shuttle service to the Ocean Wing was not well managed. On my first day, I had to wait for more than 30 minutes for transportation, which was inconvenient and showed a lack of proper coordination. On the following morning, it was raining, and guests were still required to travel to another building for breakfast. I contacted the front desk in advance to understand how guest flow would be managed, especially as I anticipated that many guests would arrive at the same time once the rain stopped. However, the response did not address my concern. I was informed that the restaurant was not busy at that moment and that breakfast hours would be extended until 11:00 AM. I went for breakfast while it was still raining lightly, so I did not have to wait long for a table. However, as expected, once the rain stopped, more guests began to arrive, and a queue started to form. Although outdoor seating was later opened, some areas were still wet, which suggested a lack of preparation for such a situation. More importantly, at around 10:25 AM, guests were informed that breakfast service would be closing soon, which contradicted the earlier communication that it would be extended until 11:00 AM. This inconsistency caused confusion and diminished trust in the information provided. In addition, certain items such as vanilla ice cream were no longer available. When I inquired, I overheard staff communicating loudly from the kitchen in a way that felt unprofessional. While I understand that it was near closing time, the manner of communication gave the impression of a lack of willingness to serve. Later that day, I encountered a maintenance issue in my room, as the toilet was not functioning properly. Although I was informed that assistance would be provided immediately, there was a significant delay without any update or communication. During this time, I had to leave my room and use public restroom facilities, which was highly inconvenient. When the technician eventually arrived, the issue was only partially resolved, and I did not feel confident using the facility afterward. Despite staying until late check-out under my Platinum benefits, I did not receive any follow-up or confirmation regarding the resolution of the issue from either the front desk or the maintenance team. Finally, during check-out, there was no acknowledgment or inquiry regarding the issues I had experienced. The front desk appeared understaffed and busy, resulting in minimal engagement with guests. Overall, I felt that the combination of inconsistent communication, lack of preparation, and insufficient service recovery fell short of the standards I would expect. Given the level of inconvenience experienced throughout my stay, I sincerely hope the hotel will review this case carefully and consider an appropriate gesture of goodwill that reasonably reflects the impact of these issues on my overall experience.

Too crowded in the breakfast area and beach area.

The place is beautiful, rooms are nice, but the fact that you need to wait for a shuttle to just go to eat lunch or brekky is really annoying. Car park slots are very narrow, feeling not safe for my car (dents are possible are other cars must park very close), while 15 year old BMWs with no resale value are permitted to park on a more "special" and wider area. This is also really annoying. Price of the food and drinks is way too high. Definitely more expensive than nice Bangkok hotels. Surprising for such a remote location with many other food options just nearby. Price of water is much more expensive than even Hilton Pattaya... So if you choose to dine here you know you will pay an amazing high price for just water. This is not a good strategy as we don't want to try it again later, obviously. If by chance we come back here, we will choose another restaurant neraby and definitely skip the hotel food options. This is sad as the quality of the meal was quite good, howver definitely overrated on the price tag.
