The hotel room was comfortable, the build felt empty since the actual hotel lobby was outside and not typical to most hotels. Having the breakfast location afar and being driven to its location felt disconnected, usually as having family traveling with us, there is always something that one has to return to one’s room, but due to this design format does not work. The swimming pool was closed and should had been open after our first day as the swimming pool was undergoing maintenance and was still closed after we left. We were given permission to use the other pool, but then again we needed to be driven to its location.

We sincerely apologize for the swimming pool maintenance, the need to take a shuttle bus to another building for breakfast, and the difficulty you encountered in finding an available table. We also regret that our fitness facilities did not meet your needs. I have stayed at your hotel for business many times over the years. Our company directors Power Transformers International with Thai Trafo Manufacturing stay at your hotel on every visit, it’s our first choice in Rayong. Also bought my family on one trip & they loved it. The location & view from the pool is beautiful… makes going to work really difficult when at your hotel. Khum Mimm at arrival was very informative and profoundly friendly.
Room was nice, tidy and spacious! Having seen both sunrise and sunset from the balcony was something special for us.
Having breakfast by the sea was also top notch experience and the options was also varied.

We have travelled to so many beautiful places in Thailand Phuket, Pattaya, Koh Samui and many others and we have stayed at quite a few fivestar hotels along the way. But Mercure Rayong Lomtalay is honestly one of those rare places that feels like a hidden gem. This was actually our third stay, and every time I come back, I understand more and more why I love this place. One time our Room was 2104, with an amazing oceanview. Waking up and looking out at the sea was simply beautiful. Another big plus for us is that the hotel is petfriendly. We travelled with our Golden Retriever, and it made the experience even more special. Being able to enjoy a beautiful beachfront resort together with our dog is something we really appreciate. We have stayed at many luxury hotels and beach resorts around Thailand, but there is something different about Mercure Rayong Lomtalay. It feels peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and genuinely relaxing. And a special thanks to Khun Meem at the reception for her warm welcome, kindness and excellent service. She made our stay even more memorable. ❤️ One moment that really touched us happened during our second visit a few months ago. That time, we didn’t bring our Golden Retriever, Milo, with us. When we arrived at reception, the girl in the reception immediately recognized us and asked, “Where is Milo?” Honestly, we were so happy and touched that she remembered his name. ❤️ It may seem like a small thing, but to us, it meant a lot. It showed how genuinely warm and caring she is, and it made us feel like we were coming back to a place where people actually remembered us.

The location is good and I like the view at ocean wing. The room is nice. However, there was a cockroach in my room. I believe that the housekeeper did a good job, but the cleaning policy should include inspecting the pipe. The hotel could also show more accountability na ka.

As title, we found cockroach in the room and a lot of mosquitoes. Me and my kid hardly sleeps during the night (she even got bitten on her face). I will give you 3 because your staffs is good and the room overall is comfortable. It just the bug that causing problem.
