Should not be called airport hotel, excellent breakfast made up for the inconvenience

Arrived just before ten in evening after 11 euro taxi ride from terminal, I expected hotel to be closer to the airport. Not greeted at reception by otherwise occupied staff and had to ask for welcome drink that did not make me feel valued. Breakfast was excellent and made up for the additional hassle.

Dear Mr. G., thank you for taking the time to give us such an extensive feedback for your stay. We are sorry to hear that you disliked the distance of the hotel to the airport, and especially that you were not greeted properly upon your arrival. This is not our standard, and we will definitely discuss this internally. Also your comments regarding the water pressure, functioning of the air conditioning, speed of connection, and mould in the shower I already forwarded to the respective departments. I am however very glad to hear that the breakfast could partly make up for your inconveniences! All in all, most things you mentioned are definitely not what we want to offer. Those matters will definitely discussed in order to improve for the future. We would be glad to welcome you back, in order to provide you with a better experience! very polite staff. Pleasant check in. Staff helped me with adaptor readily. Excellent breakfast for a four star hotel. Very lavish spread. Good options for vegetarians. Very close to airport. Very neat and spacious room. I would recommend strongly.

Had a great overnight stay after arriving very late from overseas. Brand new hotel 5mins drive away from DUS rental car pick up. Plenty of secure basement parking available at reasonable price. Check in smooth and reception staff very friendly. Spacious room with all amenities needed, excellent shower and superb bed. Sufficient size gym with all the basic equipment needed for your workout/cardio. Fantastic breakfast with a wide selection of food, very attentive staff at breakfast area, great coffee also ok to bring to your room in nice coffee mug. Check-out very smooth, too. Overall an excellent overnight stay and highly recommended. Will definitively come back.
