We ended our two week holiday to Cambodia and Vietnam at the Banyan Tree and it really was the icing on the cake for us - the crème de la crème. Chosen for my husband’s birthday. The villa had the best views inviting us to wake up to the sunrise each morning and watching the sun disappear as the moon shone brightly. Peaceful and meticulous in all the details in the villas, with our dedicated hotel staff Bich being very attentive to all of our needs, ensuring that we were comfortable and had an enjoyable stay. Bich also kindly organised a birthday cake to the villa which was very much appreciated. The perks in the rooms include the extremely soft /comfortable beds, the nicest of robes with slippers, fresh fruit and cake. Each night we were left biscuits near the beds with a gift which was a beautiful gesture. Lots to do if you wish to keep busy such as bike riding around the resort and all the classes on offer (fishing, coffee making, meditation etc). The pool at Angsana also offers fun for the kids if they wish to use the slides and attend the foam party so you can venture out to the sister hotel. On the food, love love love the breakfasts - varied, fresh and healthy options. The dinners have also been enjoyable even if on the more pricier side than when you are used to eating out in Hoi An or Danang. Overall, a wonderful and memorable stay.

We’ve had the pleasure of doing a cocktail-making class with Thien, and it was honestly such a fun and memorable experience! He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure everyone felt involved (and a little fancy with our cocktail-shaking skills). We’ve also visited the bar a few times, and we got to try a few of his signature cocktails. His attention to detail, friendly nature, and the way he goes above and beyond for every guest really stands out. The service is always incredible. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the Banyan Tree. The whole setting is stunning and our room was perfect. Special thanks to our amazing host Man who couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. It was extremely indulgent to be able to WhatsApp him at any time and he always responded within minutes to organise our reservations or room service etc. Our only recommendation would be to management around the pricing strategy of the alcohol. The prices were ridiculously high - 3 times more than other hotels in Vietnam and there seemed to be such a focus on happy hour. The lobby bar was completely empty when we popped in after dinner at 9pm. If the hotel wanted to make more money my advice would be to reduce the price by 30% which would encourage your guests to buy more. If they are going to charge what they do then the quality needs to be better as the wine list was pretty basic for £50/60 per bottle minimum.

Amazing quiet luxury resort

Truly an incredible start to our honeymoon. I'd recommend starting a Vietnam journey here as a relaxing way to shake off the flight and ease into the destination. The facility is fantastic but the service level is what makes this place shine. From the moment you step on property it feels like you're a special guest and our villa hosts Mi and Yen did a great job keep in touch with us and helping at the drop off a hat. The breakfast buffet is out of this world and so fun also made lunch a non-factor. I think the dinner restaurants are good not great compared to what the rest of the country has to offer but overall the service was just such a treat. We're very likely to return at some point.
