We enjoyed our stay very much. Did not realise how busy the hotel was. Was not able to dine in the breakfast room due to large groups, had to eat in the bar area, along way from breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful, a little mixup with the checkout time. Was told 12pm when checking in because I was a gold member but received a call at 10.30 to ask why we were still occupying the room as we had passed out time.

Overall, the experience was just as good as it was when we first visited in October 2024. However, the internet/wifi service offered was sporadic. And the WiFi in our bedroom was practically not useable. We had to either move our devices to the front door or else go into the hallway in order to obtain a strong enough signal. Even then, it was sporadic.

The overall experience at the hotel is rather mixed. As a platinum Accor Member, the member check-in area was a much needed respite among the crowd. The welcome drinks and welcome amenities were delightful, one of the best we had. The breakfast quality was excellent and the fnb staff were diligently clearing trays despite being overwhelmed by the crowds. The negatives were stark. My booking includes a deluxe room which is the highest room category before the suites. No complimentary room upgrade is fine as I already booked the highest room category. However, the assigned room was only at the first level, directly above the tavern which had loud music playing till 11pm. Our sleep was disturbed which was unfortunate as we had to wake up early to catch the golden bridge morning experience. I would have expected to be put on a higher floor or allocated a quieter room. While the hotel provided us late check out till 12.30pm, it seems that there were some communications problem internally. We had two instances between 9.30am - 12nn of staff trying to enter our room. The first was housekeeping which seemed to be not informed of the late check out arrangement while the second was a senior person making his rounds but apparently he opened the wrong room when i asked for the reason. There was a third instance at noon where a staff was outside but at least the staff bothered to check for occupancy prior to opening the door. Luckily we tend to bolt the door so there were no unsightly moments but the whole experience was rather jarring. For breakfast, apparently there was a dining zone for premium members but this was not mentioned to me at all. I was left to find my own table among the crowds. Overall, Mercure is the monopoly for ba na hills accommodation until other hotels gets built. Hope the processes improve in order to provide a better experience for guests.

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The main issue was that the air conditioning in our room was not working properly from check-in until the next morning. We informed the staff multiple times, and while they did try to help by adjusting settings and sending a technician, the temperature in the room remained around 24°C throughout the night. At around 10 PM, we were offered a 2 seperate room change or table fans. Since we were traveling with family and had to wake up early (around 5 AM) for Golden Bridge, shifting rooms late at night was not practical. We had to manage with table fans, and it resulted in a very uncomfortable night with poor sleep. On a positive note, the reception staff and the morning manager were polite, helpful, and genuinely tried to assist us. However, for a property like Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills, basic room comfort is expected, and this issue significantly impacted our stay. Overall, a beautiful location and concept, but the stay experience did not meet expectations due to this issue.
