Convenient and Good Quality Hotel in Bielefeld

We stayed at the Mercure Johannisberg most recently on 30th December 2024. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff very courteous and helpful, as always. The only problem we had was that breakfast was not available in the normal Restaurant Area. A large group had arrived, and the buffet was set up along with with tables in the conference hall for the group. The buffet was spread over various positions in and around the conference hall but was not well organised. The coffee from the machine was also very poor. As a result the breakfast experience was not what we would normally expect at the Mercure Johannisberg, otherwise everything was extremely good.

It‘s really bad, in fact I cannot remember when did I stay in a worse place, for private or for business : has the charm of an old Easter European student hostel, it’s dirty (hello dead bugs in the corner…) and my room reeks of cigarette smoke… Truly disgusting.
