Nice stay overall. Pity the hotel management didn’t check my message indicating my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. In other high-end hotels, we have been treated with something special. It’s always a nice gesture. Sofitel Barú missed the chance.

Very clean, everyone was very friendly. Wish there were more shaded options on the beach, there were not enough umbrellas for the chairs. Also it should be made clear that the water activities were only available from 11-1 and only 1 per person per day

Incredible accommodating service, the staff went an extra mile to make the stay unique and pleasant from the moment we arrived all the way to departure. Our family truly felt special. The room cleaning service was exceptional. I appreciated the whatsapp communication with the hotel. The beach staff was incredible as well as the pool. The ice cold towels with essential oils and cold refreshing drinks was amazing. Beach was cleaned every morning which was great, although getting rid of the stones from the sand could be beneficial. Swimming area could be a bit increased despite of the depth levels. Restaurants experiences were fine dining level. The breakfast that was included was exciting every morning with fresh recipes and flavours. Gym/spa staff were great offering cold bottles of water and constantly making sure the gym was tidy. Gym gear selection could be improved with exercise equipment and heavier free weights. Nature was unique with birds and other animals. Pools felt like fresh water with no chemicals which felt amazing. Live music was great although wish it was more often than a few nights or perhaps we were unaware of their schedules. Overall our family loved the stay and would gladly come back. Thank you for the memorable experience.
