The best recommendation is the fact that we leave the hotel one day before the end of the reservation. queues at breakfast, a broken coffee machine and monothematic breakfasts. I recommend the NH hotel chain, e.g. in Essen, to see what a 4-star hotel is. You still have a long way to go. A clean room with daily service is a plus.

Beautiful hotel, fresh and modern interior in a classic building. We stayed in a standard room, but it was really well designed. A very nice combination of rough bricks on the wall and beautiful carpet. The staff we interacted with was all very young but very professional and welcoming. Amazing value.
