Great location although when we arrived we did not know about he building works going on at the hotel so had a bit of trouble finding the entrance for the car park

We stopped overnight on the return leg of our journey to the ferry. The hotel was easy to find and access, good secure parking, which is always reassuring when the car is fully packed. Check in was straight forward and quick. The rooms were comfortable. There were places to eat very nearby too. The only issue was, with two older children, the makeshift bed was really for smaller children. We would prefer a proper twin setup with full single beds rather than one under what would have been the desk. My daughter kept banging her arm on the side all night, which woke her.
