Internet works well with phone, but not with at least some PCs

I was unable to logon to the hotel'S. wifi with my computer. There was no problem when using my phone, but when I tried to logon with my PC, the hotel'S. network name failed to appear in the network list. The network names of other surrounding establishments in the ares were visible but the network ID of the hotel was not. The problem remained uncorrected during the 4 days of my stay. I have stayed at this hotel in the past without this problem. I have stayed at other Accor hotels before and after this visit without this problem. The Windows Network Troubleshooter gave me an incoherrent reason for the problem and was unable to resolve it. This has also caused a problem with my subsequent reservation at the Mercure in Vannes. because I was unable to use my computer to make the Vannes reservation. I tried to use my phone but I got a message saying that the hotel was not available for the dates I wanted. When this happens with a computer, it is possible to interrogate the availability, and adjust the booking to fit in with the hotel'S. calendar. Unfortunately I was unable to find this facility on the Accor phone app. As a result I had to make the Vannes reservation with a verbal telephone call. I now find that I have been charged a higher rate than I was quoted verbally. The girl who took my call has failled to allow me both the voyager card discount and the free room upgrade. As a result I have been charged the full rate for the privilege room at Vannes without any discount Whilst I expect to recover the difference I believe that this is worth mentioning in the Yfiniac review, because if I had been able to use the Ibis'S. system and make the Vannes reservation by internet, this overcharge would have been avoided. The IIbis Yfiniac management should note that my computer worked perfectly with the internet in Mercure Vannes, and the Ibis St. Etienne La Terrace. The rooms at Yfiniac are exactly what you would expect from a Red Ibis. The staff were concerned about my internet problem, but were unable to help This hotel does have a restaurnt with a limited menu. They do not have their own chef. They buy the meals in frozen packets from a specialised restaurant service company. These packets are microwaved to the customer'S. order. This type of cooking does produce surprisingly good results. The hotel has its own free parking area. Access from the N12 is a little bit tricky. After you leave the N12, you have do do a U turn at the first roundabout, then follow the road to the hotel. Date of stay: December 2024

Good parking, quiet if facing away from the the dual carriage way. We didn't eat there at all evening or morning so can't comment about that. Room was comfortable, no kettle or tea/coffee making facility. No handle in bath/shower useful for older people
