I booked the Tarcin resort as a treat to relax and unwind. I read the description and looked at the photos and assumed it would be a 5 star experience based on the price and all the information on the Accor app. Unfortunately the place is nowhere near a luxury experience. I very rarely complain, but considering the price I can't not. The pool was out of order for the entirety of my stay. The room had bathrobes and rubbish from previous guests, it is not a smart tv, the bedsheets don't even cover the mattress and slip off, there is mould and grime in the bathroom, the food is passable, the staff is kind and trying, the soundproofing is non-existent and I could hear guests coughing in the other room. I know it sounds petty but honestly I was so disappointed with the stay and all these things added up. The other main note is that this is not a relaxing hotel. There are children screaming and running around constantly, in the halls outside the rooms, in the restaurant and near reception. It's probably a wonderful place to come with children but it's not of you'd like to unwind and enjoy peace. These weren't just children from one family, but multiple families across a couple of days so I can only assume this behaviour is condoned and not out of the ordinary. All in all, save your money, get a nice apartment or shack somewhere for half the price and enjoy. Outrageous waste of money and I regret the stay.

- The hotel has no private area, and the barrier at the entrance does not work. - Assistance with luggage is not provided by default, I had to ask for it myself. When they were transporting my suitcase, they dropped it on the ground (I was horrified imagining what might have happened to my laptop). - The towels in the room were shabby, the shower gel holder was detached and simply placed on a shelf. - There was no bathrobe, hygiene kit, dental kit, or even a pen in the room. A very meager set. - We asked for bathrobes — they brought them. 2 out of 2 bathrobes had holes. On the way to the spa, we decided to stop by the reception to show the manager the holes, but no one was at the desk. And this is a reason for a separate point. - In the morning at breakfast, we observed groups of smoking staff (reception, restaurant). Why can't they smoke in turns and in designated areas, instead of blocking guests' views of the mountains? - We dined several times in the restaurant, on the balcony. After dark, they do not turn on the lights there because there is no external lighting. We had to use our phones for light. - The hotel's territory is limited, offering powerful electric scooters for rent so that children can ride on the roads and parking lots of the hotel is a silly idea. An even stranger idea is to place a basketball hoop in the parking lot. In hotels, visitors are called guests, not clients. Just imagine, you have guests at your home, you drop their luggage (without checking if anything broke), give them torn bathrobes, make them eat outside in the dark without even providing a flashlight. When inviting a guest, you promised to provide all necessary household chemicals and personal hygiene items, but you don't even have cotton swabs. Overall, the fact that you have guests in your home hasn't changed your usual life, and you prefer to stand outside and smoke rather than make the guest's stay more comfortable. How would you rate such a host? I rate this as the worst hotel in the chain, and believe me, I have something to compare it with. It does not meet the chain's standards, five-star hotel standards, and hospitality standards.

Nice stay away from the Center

The room was nice, especially the balcony with a mountain view. Room service was great upon request (whenever you ask for anything they immediately provide), however the room facilities were not fully provided (we had to ask for toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kit) even water bottles were not refilled regularly. Limited Tea and coffee items in the room, we had to ask everyday for black tea. Dine in service cost 15 bosnian mark which is high! And the last order is at 10:00 pm (such a resort which is away from the city should have a 24 hours dine in service). There is a soft play area for the kids that is very helpful.. and the forest cafe close to the resort has nice ambiance however the food was fair (pony riding and some other activities are only during weekends). Mr. Tarek. B was very helpful in many ways. He is keen to provide advice and tips to make your visit to Bosnia a memorable experience and to have a pleasant stay at the hotel. Thanks to Mr. Nermin who helped with the reservation and the airport shuttle.

The air was so fresh. The views were spectacular There is not much to do apart from absorb the beautiful scenery around you. Quad biking, walking trails. Spa facilities But you can go down to the town if you wish The staff were so Accommodating, the waiters were brilliant and very helpful. They made you feel at home. All service came with a smile. We never felt rushed when we had any meal. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was always excellent. Only qualm was their restaurant food. This needs to be improved. This hotel hosted a certain type of customer group. That were not rude , rowdy, inappropriate. you never felt uncomfortable.
