Great location at the riverbank with a nice view over the Miljacka river and the city's promenade. Hotel is looking grand with a big impressive lobby and a nice restaurant and bar. Rooms were disappointing. Had to change room 3 times, first one was smelly, the other one was not well cleaned and full of spider webs. The double glass on the windows has not been cleaned for years and one assumes it it also quite a challenge due to the way front wall is designed. But the staff was accommodating and helpful so the third room hit the spot. Breakfast was nice, but same every day. My favorite were plum marmalade and Turkish tea.

From an efficient airport pick up by a very helpful staff member, to warm welcome at reception and upgrade, lovely suite, great breakfasts, high quality cafe and restaurant, a great stay.

First, I made a reservation on hotel’s webpage for a room on river side and payed at check-in the price of river side room, but got regular room with view on the road. Second, room was dusty with few big spiders in the bathroom (one even pretty big looking like some smaller kind of tarantual species). Bed sheets were damaged with holes on it and the room card machine at the door wasn’t working so I was getting all the electricity shut down every 30 seconds after repeatedly pulling card out and putting in so that I could have a light and hair dryer. And for the cherry on top, I went to wellness and reserved a massage appointment, but 15min before my appointment masseuse came to me at the pool to apologise and explain me that she has to cancel my massage because “owner called” and she has to go give him a massage right away?!? Totally bizarre hotel stay and incredibly unprofessional. Really didn’t expect this of Accor brand hotel. Not giving 1 just because lobby was cosy, but this is definetely one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. Shame on you Movenpick Sarajevo.
