We stayed three nights in these historical and carefully maintained hotel and enjoyed the premises with its shady hallways, large rooms and good pool.

I and my wife thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your hotel, with a few notes: (1) the mattress in Room 119 needs to be upgraded, as its surface has developed a depression on both sides of the bed; (2) you need to add more reception staff during peak hours (between 1 pm and 3 pm) to ensure that all guests are attended to. Nabella, the receptionist who responded to my inquiries was a bit short with answers, not very pleasant. But I understand that at the time she had to attend to a few other incoming guests. This unpleasant experience could have been easily avoided had there been more reception staff on location.

The hotel was great. Very well laid out and charming. Facilities all good and room perfect. However there is a bar at the side of the hotel which hosts bands and permits smoking. The smell of smoke in the main lobby the following day takes from the overall ambience.

My favourite hotel. Large rooms, nice gardens, friendly staff, good location. With a bit of serious Indonesian history thrown in. Oh, and very nice cocktails.
