I stayed at Novotel in order to be closer to work for Black Friday weekend instead of driving in and out from 50+kms. The room was amazing, I thoroughly enjoyed the ease of the entire experience. I would explore more frequent stays but the expense isn’t entirely suitable for me for as often as I would benefit from it.

Service from the team was good but not above and beyond. The room is comfortable and quiet. It’s confusing with the various lifts to get into the building and to the rooms. The room service menu is poor and arrives cold. They also don’t offer the late light menu even though it’s advertised. Location was great for DFO and CBD.

Easy check in and great location. The hotel really takes reducing single plastic use seriously. It was a bit of a strange not having bin liners in the bin. I thought they would at least have biodegradable ones.

I always love staying with you. Dissapointed with room service breakfast. I usually go to the buffet but needed to work in my room so ordered room service. It was the until 9am window and it arrived at 9.15am giving me only 15 mins to eat before I had to be at conference. The granola was a huge bowl with a little bit of yoghurt (not enough for the size of the granola) with one strawberry (which I assume was meant to be the served with fresh fruit?) and I used the milk in my fridge as I assume this was what I was meant to do as none was with my order as suggested on the menu. I added on sour dough toast (which wasn't on the online menu but on the printed one in my room) listed for $5 which I wrote on my request. I have been charged $8 and received a ridiculous 5 huge pieces of sour dough (as an add on to my breakfast). I don't know how the chef thinks anyone needs that much bread!! Such a waste of food. Add ons should be on the online order so they can be selected and as suggested added and items like bread should be 2 pieces max. On a positive all the staff are always so friendly and helpful. George is wonderful as always and ensured we left on time to catch our plane. He's an absolute Gem. I will be back in Feb.
