The hotel was clean and comfortable, staff were lovely. It was a bit disappointing not being informed about a large group staying there who had booked out the restaurant on my first night (had I known in advance I would have made alternative plans) and caused significant delay with elevators/breakfast at first. That plus the issues with the air conditioning in my last night were areas of dissatisfaction. However, overall I think it was a great option for Hobart accommodation, not too far away from most things.

Room worked well. Was disappointed to have to park in the neighboring garage—would have paid to reserve a local spot early. It was also disappointing that the gym/pool/sauna closed at 10 pm. Perhaps 10-12 could be quiet hours rather than closed?

I booked via booking.com When checking out the property refused to issue a tax invoice for the accommodation portion of my stay telling me because I booked via booking.com they are unable to issue a tax invoice. Booking.com are telling me it is the responsibility of the service provider to issue the tax invoice. If this does not get resolved quickly I will get consumer affairs involved

I went downstairs to the restaurant and ordered my food. While I was waiting I noticed there were some people who were coming into the restaurant after me and getting served before me. I was thinking maybe my food was taking longer to cook. After one hour and a half i called the waitress over and told her that i still had not received my order. The waitress checked and said it would be coming out soon. I called the Manager over and she apologised and said they had forgotten to place my order. I said well shouldn't I receive a complimentary drink or something because of this and she agreed to give me a complimentary glass of wine. It's sad I had to ask for this. They should have offered it. The food came out after over an hour and a half waiting time. The food wasn't very nice after tasting. It tasted dry. So not a very good experience that night at the hotel.

I picked out the Ibis Styles Hobart as I have stayed here before and enjoyed it. I again was not disappointed. Although my room was not ready on my arrival, that was no trouble for Ibis who promptly arranged another suitable room. From the polite welcome to the service when you leave, I again had a good stay. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, quiet venue, clean and very functional foyer, and well-located near both the Hobart CBD on one side and Sandy Bay down the hill the other way. Swimming pool and sauna facilities are good and clean as ever. Concierge facilities on my check-out day so I could undertake an activity unencumbered by my suitcase are as always efficient and easy to access.

Loved your supplied body wash and shampoo
