Easy book in, the receptionist spoke many different languages. My room was clean and comfortable as I was relaxing I smelt smoke, I went and spoke to the receptionist about this, she came up to my room. By the time we came back most of the smell was gone. The receptionist explained I could move if I wished but I chose to stay where I was. An hour late my whole room smelt of smoke so I opened my window to get air in only to find my neighbours smoking out of the window. I walked down to reception again explained the situation and requested a move, she called the room and said no smoking in the room, they explained they were smoking outside their window, she said they were not allowed to do that either. The receptionist then found a room far away from them, when I went back into the corridor on level 1 the hallway smelt of smoke and my room was smelling bad. The new room smelt so fresh and clean I was very greatful to the receptionist for being so helpful. I was staying for medical treatment the next day and needed to not be smelling smoke or being stressed.

Dear Sam, We would like to thank you for this review about your recent experience in our hotel. We are thrilled that the booking process was convenient and our team's language skills met your expectations. However, we are truly sorry that you encountered an issue with smoke during your stay. We understand that this must have been distressing, especially considering your medical treatment the following day. Nonetheless, it's great that you found your room to be clean and comfortable. We're also pleased that our staff was able to assist you promptly by arranging another room to ensure your comfort and well-being. Finally, we are happy to hear that the hotel's location was convenient for your needs. The entire team really hope we can welcome you back on a future occasion. Kindest regards, Timsac Sonia, General Manager

I had booked a triple room but when I was given the room on check in, it was a tiny double room

Very noisy rooms

Hotel is extremely noisy and really any sound is heard through walls that are like made of paper. All the talking in next room and corridor can be heard like it was next to you. Nice stuff, modest but clean rooms, good pillows and bed. Breakfast is rather good.

This is a well located hotel just off the Brussels ring road. The normal room was a little small but warm and well decorated. The clothes hanging area rather stuck out into the room. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast selection although not large for the price was very tasty and filled us up for the day. When you stay at a normal Accor hotel you see why you pay more for an Ibis Styles, but for one night it represents very good value.

Dear George, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. It is rewarding to know that you enjoyed your recent stay with us and found us to be of good value. We are sorry that you were a little disappointed with the size of your room; we do have different categories and sizes, and we would be very happy to find you one better suited to your requirements on your next visit. We are glad that you found our location convenient and that you were able to make the most of our tasty breakfast. We hope we will have the opportunity to see you again in the future. Best regards, Timsac Sonia, General Manager

Gamble on getting a parking space after you've paid upfront for your room.

XF_Jagman TripAdvisor review

We chose this hotel although it is far outside Brussels, for its secure parking, its one disabled bay and because it had a restaurant open for dinner on the nights we were going to be there. I find it unacceptable that the Accor booking system (not just this hotel) does not allow you to reserve a parking space (disabled or not) in a hotel with 81 rooms and about 25 parking spaces (1 disabled) before taking your money for a non-refundable room! You can only ask for a space and pay the hotel €10 per night on check-in. I emailed the hotel and was given assurances that "a" space - they could not specify the disabled space - would be saved for me. But I arrived early just to be sure. Full credit to the helpful staff! What was I supposed to do if I arrived and all the spaces were already taken? On most nights, their car park was full and there wasn't anywhere else nearby to park. Luckily, no-one else had a blue badge so I had no difficulty parking, but I do not like trusting to luck when there is an obvious solution. Do something about it, Accor!

Dear Guest, Thanks for your review about our hotel. We are pleased that you found our secure parking, dedicated disabled bay, and the availability of our hotel restaurant for dinner to be convenient for your stay. Our team is always ready to assist and provide the best service possible, so we're thrilled to hear that you found our staff helpful. However, we understand your concerns regarding the parking situation and the limitations of our reservation system. While we do our best to accommodate all our guests’ needs, we regret any inconvenience you may have experienced due to the parking availability. We appreciate your suggestion and will take it into consideration as we continuously strive to improve our guests' experience. Finally, we hope that despite the parking issue, you were able to enjoy the surrounding amenities and the convenience of our hotel's location, close to both the Erasmus Hospital and public transport options for easy access to the city center. We are hoping to welcome you back in the future. All the best. Timsac Sonia, General Manager
