Spacious room with comfortable bed and good facilities. Unfortunately the fresh milk had turned solid and we wouldn't have used it even if we could have got the top off.

Dear Penny, Thank you for your positive feedback regarding our hotel's location and facilities. In regards to our milk, it is from a local farm and is non-homogenized. As a result the fat solids rise to the top. It is completely normal but it may look like it is off. There is note on the shelf that explains this and we recommend shaking the bottle before opening it to loosen up the 'fat plug'. Kind regards, Robert Andren General Manager

It was a really bad experience when it come to one or two of the staff at reception. We paid for room service straight after the meal but particular staff still took money out of bond even though that wasn't what we wanted to do. We paid for the meal but instead they took it out of bond. I advised that this needs to be dealt with, because it should be the customer choose not staff decision. For this we wouldn't be returning. There wasn't any room service to have clean towels we had to go find the cleaner to get towels and when we find one they were sitting in the gym room

We had a meal at the Barrel while our eye fillet iwas nice was disappointed about the lack of veges !
