I’ve now given this hotel a new name ‘fealty towers’. Our booking in which there were three bookings due to outside agency, It was confirmed that I will be in the same room for the duration on my stay - no surprises I was expected to move rooms. Luckily I had an email confirmation that I will be in the same room. The room wasn’t ready until 5pm. Out included breakfast for a couple of days was changed to days that suited us better - guess what - no one was aware when we got to breakfast, every time. I was made to feel that it would be added to my bill. Not very welcoming. Key cards that didn’t work. I’ve stayed here for the past 3 years - will be staying elsewhere next year. This place is expensive for poor service that has continued over the years. I gave it a 4 rating cause now I treat this place with humour. Place looking tired. Carpet becoming a trip hazard in the main public areas.

Great staff. Liked the fresh milk in our room ! Was somewhat disappointed that over 4 day stay an upgrade to lake view was not available despite my Gold status. I noticed the bus tours had these. Also, It was not pointed out that the treats in the fridge were complimentary. I had to ask at reception.

Check in was delayed as room wasn’t ready We weren’t advised of how long the delay would be so we missed a pre booked and paid outing we had planned which we lost hinders of dollars. Staff never then claimed I should’ve known it was delayed as she made the call to house keeping in front of me . She then offered to refund parking fee and room discount but that didn’t happen . She continued to be defensive and blame me for not knowing the fee was a delay
