When my wife and I checked in the young girl on reception was pleasant but kept referring to us as YOUS. There is no such word as yous .Reception should be better. Our room was clean but the bathroom was very old fashioned and a health and safety hazard for people like us in their 80"s as there was an old fashioned bath to climb over to get into the shower which had a very old fashioned rose. The dining room was ok as far as the food went but being asked to be seated in the dark by the window made it very difficult to see the menu.Get some lighting there.

Enjoy the spa. Overall pretty nice, could use a new shower head.

the bed was comfy and plenty of room in the King room. For the price I rather expected a better feeling tho, the carpet was marked badly and appeared dirty. Old looking bathroom and fittings, even considering the Rotorua sulphur effect. The condiments cabinet was rotting at the bottom and dirty behind it.

Beds are really comfortable. Everything really needs a refresh especially the bathroom. Very old with some rust and staining present. No main lights in the bedroom area is both weird and inconvenient. The heating is also very old and loud and you are not able to control the temperature well. I had some very cold nights with it being set to the warmest setting. TV Chromecast situation wasn't working properly but i wasn't in my room much so not too much of an issue for me. The main conference room is great for our needs but the Hilary room wasn't well sound dampened and amplified the sound in group discussions making it hard to hear the person next to you.
