We were there for 3 nights. The pillows were massively oversized and uncomfortable. I requested a thinner pillow and was given a memory foam replacement which was like a brick. I therefore had to use a scrunched up bath towel as a pillow for 3 nights and got very little sleep whilst staying at the hotel. I put aside on a chair 6 pillows which my husband and I didn’t use plus the memory foam pillow. There was a consistent noise in the room throughout the night. I recorded it on my phone. I don’t know where it was coming from. The breakfast was disappointing. The hash browns were so dried up and brittle from the overhead heaters that they just crumbled into pieces when cutting them. The poached eggs in the servery were solid and I like them soft. When I asked a staff member from the kitchen if it would be possible to cook me 2 soft poached eggs she said in an unsmiling manner ‘It will take a while’. Honestly, how long does it take to poach 2 eggs?
