After a long year we wanted some timebjust to relax and refresh. The blue skies and warm weather were good but nothing compared to the service we received from Shawn and the team. We extended our stay another night - a great decision. Thank you Shawn and the whole Novotel team for making our stay special.

Check in was great. Ihaka was exceptional. The air con in the room didn't work so was uncomfortable given it was one of the hottest days in January (8th) so far. Was told room service closed at 11pm. We tried to order food at 1030pm and were asked by restaurant reception if we were sure we wanted room service or if we wanted to go across the road and get food, insinuating that us ordering food was an inconvenience. Reluctantly our order was taken. Additionally only half of the pools were available some were under maintenance. We felt like we couldn't spend the time we wanted in the pools because of how busy it was and the limited space available. Unsure if I would book here again. For nearly $300 a night, I expected better value.

While the hotel is clean, and we liked the level of cleanliness, there was no assistance to take our luggage to and from the room. We had to carry our own bags. Also there is no room service available. We had go to the dining area to pick drinking water which was annoying.

Great location,clean comfortable room with mini fridge and coffee/tea available. Also has a clean modern bathroom. Love!
