The Hotel was nice, people were very friendly. It is difficult in these covid times to have everything running as it normally would! Our service at breakfast was exceptional, however the food was a little disappointing. Like I say a little hard during covid as you can't offer the buffet. The bacon was hard and very difficult to chew. Otherwise everything else was fab.

Satisfied with all health health and safety protocols and felt safe during the stay. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The room was clean and tidy with all the stated amenities and facilities

Very welcoming staff. Upon arrival was told that I could not use the Restaurant, pool or gym without a vaccine pass. Understandable with the government rules, but still frustrating. As a Gold ACCOR member, the staff were very accommodating, apply discounts to my room-service food and providing a take-away coffee for me. The welcome cheese-board platter gift was amazing. Thank you for helping in these tough times.

Aircon in rooms 326 and 328 were not working. The room was stifling hot. Also had room 330 and the aircon was great. Perhaps complimentary cold water bottles in the fridge for guests?

Very pleasant, with all needs and expectations met. We were there the day of Covid licensing. We were unprepared for this and did not have the license in place and was guided through the procedure by the restaurant manager. He was extremely courteous and very helpful with setting us up with this lice nse. He went beyond his job in doing this for us and we are extremely grateful.

This is our hotel of choice when we visit Rotorua. The welcoming fresh fruit and cheese tray was much appreciated together with a bottle of wine and bottles of water. As usual our room was fresh and spotless with a lovely view over the lake. We were not able to use our welcome free drinks at the bar due to a private function but we could probably use those during our next visit. Unfortunately the usual comprehensive buffet was not available due to Covid but the hotel is a one minute walk from "eat street" that has a wide selection of restaurants.

Stayed two nights for a conference held at the hotel. Comfortable bed - that's all I need. A little disappointed that I checked the box for newspapers but didn't received any. Went for breakfast on the second morning and no one was around to welcome or advice what to do.

Staff great - and everythinbg nice and comfortable. Two negatives - the enforcement of masks was slack - there was a significant group on the Friday night who just didn't give a damn - and staff did nothing. The breakfasts were average - I was surprised. Thje dinners were great and so was everything else

We like it. We can walk to Eat Street, Walk around the lake, use the gym and pools and you have Super King beds.

I had to show vaccination passport three times. It would make more sense to show it once on arrival when checking in and if at all possible, the meet and greets could load confirmation into your system. Therefore going into the restaurant, you wouldnt have to show the passport again. The catering and staff (Dean and Katie) for the meeting held on Saturday was excellent.

Lovely & relaxing. Facilities were clean & tidy. It was very quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. With COVID being close by, the Health & safety protocols the standards were high and strict. Great to see.
