Well appointed room friendly staff good breakfast and dinner. Only reason I didn’t give 10 was Tesla charger wasn’t working

We arrived at 5pm, the room allocated was not cleaned, staff could only offer a smaller room and complimentary breakfast. Dinner was ok. Booking for wairakei terraces was ok, towels were complimentary from the lodge as long as you returned them. Next morning cleaners wanted to enter our room at 8am, she thought we had checked out, apologies we're accepted. Time to enjoy our complimentary breakfast, only to be questioned rudely by the restaurant staff, when I confirmed the complimentary breakfast applied to our room number, she didnt welcome us to the restaurant, and again abruptly addressed us while we were eating asking our room number again after she clearly didnt listen or believe me. We finished our breakfast and left, she didnt apologize for her rudeness. Upon checking out the total charges to our room could not be found , suggesting everything had been paid. I then checked my account and yes the transaction had infact been completed. Sadly this was not the expected service I had looked forward to, and probably won't recommend or return.
