When we first arrived we were disheartened by how dated our accommodation looked! However, we quickly saw beyond this and realised everything is kept extremely clean and is of excellent quality. The bed and bedding were excellent, the shower was powerful with hot water quick to arrive. The kitchen with dishwasher was well appointed. Everything we could need. The food both for breakfast and dinner is superb. Great choices and excellent value. All of the staff are friendly, positive, cheerful, efficient and polite. The leisure facilities (including the somewhat tired pool), are fantastic. We enjoyed using both the pool and the gym. My husband played golf twice, not the best of courses but still very enjoyable.

This hotel has the best staff, great food and great location to Haku Falls and Wairakei terrace thermal springs. The hotel itself is showing its age, but the positives well and truly outweigh the esthetics. Now, back to the staff. From Hannah at check in (we hope you are off your trainee badge), to Greg in the restaurant, the Bar staff and the lovely House Keeping, you made the stay awesome!!!

We had the most amazing stay here, Omkar was very kind and took his time to go through all the amenities of the resort with us. He had a warm hospitable way of doing so. Working hospitality myself he was the perfect definition of someone who should work hospo. The room was comfy and the heated pool was amazing too, but above all the level of service provided really stuck with us!
