Not a fun experience. The room was old and dingy. I expected more for the price. We couldn’t sleep well because there was almost no a/c. Left early in the morning.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. Hospitality is about going the extra mile, but that was missing throughout our visit. Housekeeping was not up to standard. The room was not cleaned properly, and we had to remind them daily just to service the room. Even after requesting cleaning, the response came with attitude. For example, they said they would change towels and restock tea and coffee but would not vacuum the floor, which was very frustrating. Front office staff were no better. Most interactions felt very cold — some staff offered only a fake smile, and others didn’t even bother with that. During peak summer, one of our rooms had the heater stuck on and it couldn’t be turned off. The room became extremely hot and uncomfortable, and our kids were getting unwell due to the heat. We informed reception and requested a room change, but were told the hotel was fully booked and nothing could be done. We were asked to “adjust for the night” and wait for maintenance the next day. Instead, we were given a pedestal fan and told to use that to cool the room. Honestly, this just circulated the hot air from the heater and made things worse. There was no empathy, no apology, and no real effort to resolve the issue. Paying around $200 per night, this level of service is unacceptable. Guests are not staying for free. During peak season, maintenance should be on standby, and rooms should be properly checked before guests arrive. It’s such a beautiful property, but the poor service is letting it down. This experience does not reflect the standard expected from the Accor brand.
