Regarding the room condition, 1, Carpet very dirty in appearance, 2 cracked and chipped basin,3 one mug cracked below the lip, 4 toilet only had one flush working, 5, Black mould on the shower wall. Regarding the dinner the staff there were very pleasant and accomodating. On checkout we were attended to by your operations manager wo asked how was our stay. He was told we were very disappointed in the room condition. To his credit he handled our complaint very professionally and he should be commended for that.

We stayed three nights in a studio villa. Unfortunately the upgrade offer to a suite did not suit as it had a shower over a bath which is difficult for my wife to use. The studio was satisfactory although a little tired. We had two meals in the bar both of which were fabulous. The breakfast buffet is great as well.

Great comfy beds, awesome rooms clean and tidy. Entry info from lady at from desk was excellent. Friendy Staff Dinner food was very dissapointing with fish wasn't fresh and cabonara not nice. Breakfast Buffet was the worst I've ever had scrambled eggs, mushrooms, were not nice.

Reception staff where awesome. Food unfortunately was not very good in the restaurant . We had fish and chips and the kids macaroni cheese. Pools where fantastic the room was a little dated and to hot (wish we could turn the heating off or down)

Very helpful exchanged a TV that was faulty. The heating was intense and a serviceman came and opened small push out windows at the top of the glass doors to the outside and provided a fan. We had immediate comfort.

This was our third stay at Wairakei in the last 8 months, each time with family. Great for the kids with plenty of room for them to spread out and the pools are always a treat. Restaurant and bar are fine and the buffet breakfast is a hit for the grandkids.
