I think that this hotel is good and clean and the right price. It has a good view of the lake from some rooms and its a decent room. I had a bad experience at breakfast when I was left arguing for my entitlement to the breakfast. So I have a slightly less good time. On the second day I came down at 910 and the breakfast ended at 9 so I missed it again. Luckily as a platinum member I was able to attend the novotel next door and enjoy the breakfast there. It was much nicer and the team seemed to be a different level of service. I will admit the price difference shows in this way. Other then that everything else was pretty good although they didn't refill my hot chocolate satchels on day two I would recommend you stay at this hotel although my experience was less good this time. I will stay again it's likely but I will be more vocal about what I would like.

Disappointing stay

We had issues each day if our stay, mostly to do with towels: no hand towels and one face cloth for the room - that appeared to be hotel protocol despite number of guests or requests made by them; one day, it took 3 hours to be provided with an extra face cloth (it would’ve been quicker to wash and dry the one we were given in the guest laundry), coffee was not regularly restocked and no milk provided.

Very comfortable bed and nice clean room. Breakfast was not great, food was cold and not a lot of variety.

Clean rooms - it’s an Ibis so there’s a standard set up. We were comfortable and had a good night’s sleep. Lift situation a bit irritating. One not working and the other full of cleaning stuff at 6 at night with frustrated cleaning crew going up and down. Couldn’t get luggage into lift for ages. Stupidly we had breakfast the next morning. They literally stop serving at 9 a.m. by removing the hot dishes. We found it denuded by coach party ahead of us and hot food was pretty soggy and unappetising- what was left.
