I am very easily pleased but feel it necessary to share my rating FYI, so that hopefully you can improve the standard of the room I had... which I think was Rm 86 but can't remember for sure. Level 2, room directly to the left as you exit the lift. Please check your records against my name. There are several stains both on the suitcase shelf ( red blotches that could be blood stains, don't know for sure) and on the carpet dotted along from the door to the window side of the room. One directly below the window is quite big. I took photos but looks like I can't share here. They're really obvious though. Also there was no body soap in the dispenser in the shower, had to step out of the shower to get some from the handbasin area. I am as concerned for any kiwis like myself but even more concerning is to think this poor standard would reflect badly from overseas travelers. I felt embarrassed for Ibis as well as for our NZ tourist reputation. The room needs a makeover/new carpet if the stains can't be removed... and a little more care in restocking the body wash. I was a little surprised too, to see no shampoo and conditioner but I didn't check the booking details.
