The pullman at Rotorua on the surface looks amazing. Modern finish, and spacious rooms. Centrally located and exceptional service by the staff. However a few of the design decisions in the room were annoying. The toilet cubical in the main room had a gap on the door of about 50cm meaning any smells would shared with the room, and there are no exhaust fans or ability to open a window to remove said odour. Lighting in the open plan shower/toilet means lights go on which disrupts anyone else sleeping in the room.
