The room itself was generally comfortable, and I fully understand that basic amenities like disposable slippers and bin liners might occasionally be missed during housekeeping turnover. ​However, what made this stay deeply disappointing was the complete lack of service follow-through. I called the front desk, and the team explicitly promised that the items would be brought up "within 5 minutes." Nobody ever showed up. We waited, eventually left the property, and only realized upon returning hours later that the request was simply forgotten and ignored. ​For a Pullman property that positions itself as a five-star standard, making an empty promise and failing to deliver even the most basic guest service is simply unacceptable.

Stayed a couple of nights for my birthday celebration. Close to restaurants and only an hour from Taupo so we visited both towns. Very quiet, no road noise despite being right on the street. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Booked a superior city view room. First room no 102 had a car park right outside the room. Went to reception and said I wasn’t happy. Was given room 304 which from the bed looked straight into a multi storey commercial building. Room was comfortable but very strange shape. Very dark lighting over vanity my wife found it hard putting on makeup and me shaving. Couch was facing a wall which was in a narrow part of room and tv was round the corner?

Great location. The staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we couldn't use the safe as it wasn't working. We reported this issue twice to the front reception and they assured us that it would be sorted but unfortunately it wasn't.

Our room was to be available at 3 pm. we arrived at 2 pm and organised to leave our bags / At 4 pm our room still was not ready. As we had an appointment at 4.40 we needed to change for and travel too we had to accept a room on the bottom floor. The roomwe paid for was advertised as " city views". This room was next to a carpark, with only views of a car right next to the window and the carpark trafic light facing the room.
