Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm very sorry to hear how distressed you felt during your check-in, especially on a weekend that was meant to be a celebration for you. As your booking was made through a third-party site, the information regarding the requirement for a physical credit or debit card for the security bond should have been communicated to you at the time of booking. That said, we do apologise that this was not made clearer and for the impact this had on your arrival experience. While we do have policies in place for the security and protection of all our guests, the way they are delivered is equally important. I’m very sorry if the interaction at the front desk came across as unkind or abrupt — that is certainly not the standard we aim to uphold, and your feedback will be shared with the team for reflection and improvement.
