My experience was not good. This Ibis Styles property does not advertise itself as any form of luxury, and that is not what I was after. I wanted central place to stay for one night that lived up to its meager promises noted on its website. Among them, parking and air-conditioning. Vichy and much of France is enduring a heatwave at the moment. I didn't get any parking--all full, and found a street parking spot nearby. And I did not get any air-conditioning, either. Nor was I able to get the attention of management in my request for a simple fan since the room's windows could not be opened for fear of letting in biting insects. A cold shower just before bedtime and a near-naked sleep on the bed with no sheet or other cover on me allowed me to persevere and get some sleep overnight. Breakfast was adequate. After breakfast, I received more lame excuses from the front desk after asking for some sort of recompense for my unhappy stay....the desk attendant saying the manager would be in later in the day.

Friendly staff, clean room, that’s for the positive. As for the rest, this hotel needs to be renovated, badly and structurally, I’m not talking about a layer of paint ( which it probably had recently). Bathrooms need to be heated, tiling redone as to remove the mold. Let me be clear, mold is there because the bathroom is old and cold, not because of poor housekeeping. Just have a look at the ground level elevator doors, you have the impression of an use industrial lift in a logistics center, and not in a vintage fancy way.

Great location, nice free parking and breakfast. The staff were also very considerate. The rooms themselves are a bit older and not the cleanest we have ever stayed, but all things considered it was a good value.

Three families travelling together is always difficult, but very pleased with the family rooms and the breakfast options. Would definitely recommend. The location was very gooand I suggest for those who want to stay longer and explore the local area from there

Stayed as a family of 5 for 1 night en-route to the south of France. Location of the hotel is great which enabled us to quickly see the sights of Vichy during the evening we were there. Rooms and communal spaces are tired but clean. The family room was perfect for 1 night - ideal that the kids space could be shut off from the parents so they could get to sleep earlier. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The car park is included but there are only 15 spaces and it’s is very small for modern big cars, so care is needed.
