Nice hotel well located for our first visit to Vichy. Pity about the works and closures around the town (you didn't give us information about that) but I suppose not your fault. Found good restaurants etc

I chose Mercure as I thought it was upmarket from Ibis. In my experience the Mercure Vichy is worse than any Ibis I have stayed in. The hotel room was in a poor state of repair with badly stained ed carpets as were the corridors. The breakfast room was five. My other observation was that unlike other stays within the Accor group the reception staff were not particularly helpful.

In need of dire remodel

This Mercure hotel really needs a remodeling. It is like a 2-3 star hotel. Would not stay here next time

the hotel is a little bit tired, carpets are spoiled, room is OK, access is not really good because of works. Personel is OK but no more, and breakfast buffet is ok but notthing fancy (no fruit yogourht and limited cerals...
